Warren County: San Mar Gale housing development (Oregonia)
I'm just saying they can't have their cake and eat it too. Who is going to be hurting truly if this is built?

Wow and these are the same people that drive 20-30 miles to work making traffic worse for everyone else.

Cincinnati: Brent Spence Bridge
Oh yeah...scrap that idea..The ohio is not deep enough. Unless you put in some kinda warning system when the level gets so low.Maybe you could carb out the bottom ,then put the sections in place. ;) Still cheaper than drilling under it I would think. Oh btw they got 14 billion dollars for that Tunnel. They can't spare a billion to replace the bridge which soon will have the same kinda Volume the big dig carries.

Cincinnati: Brent Spence Bridge
I was just watching the Discovery channel about tunnels. It's possible to put a tunnel on the bed of the Ohio river instead of digging under it. I think they should look at that option very hard. It may even be faster to build since the sections are lowered down into place and then connected.

Peak Oil
If a barrel ever cost $262 a gallon.....all jobs would be lost.

Cincinnati: Crosby Township - Fort Scott
Do they have enough sewer connections to support that development? I've always heard there is not enough sewer lines to the west side. That's why it is not fully developed yet.

Cincinnati: Crosby Township - Fort Scott
Sigh this could be 3 40 story condo towers downtown. Developers makes me sick in the midwest sometimes.

(IRAQ) "It was not tremendously more dangerous than Cincinnati"
WOW what a joke. I would go through OTR in the middle of the night, before i walk down a street in Baghdad. He's lost all sense of reality. There they kill you because you're american. In Cincinnati a person is killed because of drugs and they usually know that person..

Ohio: Foreclosure News & Info
Who is the state to say you can't charge higher broker fees. That's BS. If i was in business which i am and they say i can't have a profit margin of more than so much percent i would be PISSED. If the consumer was smart they would goto another broker that charges less of a fee. It's called competition.

Downtowns and their affect.
Hey i was just thinking. Lets just say if there was no down town.s eg there was no downtown Cleveland would you still be living in Cleveland if you still had all the sports, cultures, the lack ect? Basicly if you took away the skyscrapers would you still love Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, etc?

Ohio: GM, Ford, and Chrysler News & Info
Well the companies that are in trouble would do it anyway if they go bankrupt which Ford is trying to avoid.. Trust me i would accepted 60k from an 80k job instead of losing it all, but hey they chose to Cancel production instead of slowing it down. So they will not be bring them products back ever.I have no idea why these companies wait until the last minute to do somethign drastic. they could have phased out one plant at a time and hope sales improve, but not they will close 14 at one time. They know they lost thier market share to Toyota ,because they make chity products. And the american people will not stand for it.

Ohio: GM, Ford, and Chrysler News & Info
why didn't they just negotiate with the unions to lower their wages, before just closing all the plants?

Ohio Turnpike
so they are not even keeping this money in the states. That's sad. If i was a Indiana I would be furious that my tax money was made to build something then sold to an foreign entity. If it's in Ohio i wouldn't support it. Look at all the revenue they would be giving up in the long run. NO WAY.

Winter! Post your pics here!
I think the coldest it's been all winter, at least in Cincinnati has been 24'. I'm not complaining. I just hope we don't have 20 days of 100 or more this summer.

Ohio: GM, Ford, and Chrysler News & Info
My friend works at that Batavia plant. I think he knew it was coming. He was wanting to invest in my business just this past week. I guess the pink slips will happen over time. It could be today or anytime until 2008 when he knows when he'll be gone.

Statement Skyscrapers
^ I don't know about that. They have this 16 lane highway called the downtown connector that solid during rush hour and their northern loop puts I-275 to shame.
