Is Cincinnati gentrifying or decaying?
Well to consider Metro Cincinnati produce twice as many jobs as any metro in Ohio the past year. It's doing quite well and It's the ONLY metro in Ohio to have gained jobs since 2000. It's lost one F500 company in 2005, but 2 HUGE mergers made 2 other F500 companies that much larger and Cincinnati retained a past F500 company from moving to Atlanta or Miami.

Which Ohio Mid-size city has the best economy?
One thing about Dayton though. It's closer to Warren and Butler county than Cincinnati is to then. and An ydevelopment there goes to Cincinnati numbers and not Dayton. There is this HUGE subdivison being built near Springboro.Like 7000 homes. And all them Construction jobs are showing in Cincinnati Metro and not Dayton. Dayton is getting screwed, but I think it would like to be part of the larger market, because then they will have more drawing power to prospective companies. Over 1.6 million workers shouldn't be taken lightly.

Which Ohio Mid-size city has the best economy?
Well iif you are in the right field of work, you can get a job in any of them. I would have to say Toledo. It's gained 600 jobs since last year. Dayton and Akron lost 3k and 1k respectably.

Ohio needs to contract counties
We have way too many Counties. Ohio can't support so many of them(88). We need to consolidate. Arizona has 15 Counties that covers an area 3 times a large as Ohio. We need to get rid of alot of red tape, we are falling behind. Be progressive for a change.

Cleveland: Population Trends
I think we should worry about jobs first, then the population will come. From Nov 1990- Nov 2000 the Cleveland metro gained 113 thousand jobs, but from Nov 2000- Nov 2005 Cleveland lost 56 thousand jobs. http://data.bls.gov/PDQ/outside.jsp?survey=sm
