  1. That's an odd spot for department stores. If it happens they will have to re-due River road.. It's just too narrow around that area.

The Bengles took it on the chin today...I think the best they can do this year is 11-5. That includes another loss to pittsburgh, one to Indy and at Baltimore.
  3. 400k for a condo is kinda steep no matter how you look at it. I mean i guess the association fee would be 1k a month? wow.
  4. I bet they will blame the employee discount they gave everyone.
  5. ^ With that said and done then why isn't Cincinnati doing better than Blue Ash financially?
  6. I was just wondering when groundbreaking was. Does anyone have a completion date?
  7. I'm thinking something on the lines of a dead dinosaur skeleton.lol

For some reason i can see the Siera Club coming down on these. That's two bridges over the Little Miami.
  10. Here is the problem If you only expand the bridge to 5 lanes(each direction) and I-75 is expected be expanded by one or 2 more lanes. Now If that get's rid of that bottleneck and the bridge is only one lane extra each direction. there will be HUGE bottleneck at the bridge since all that traffic that is normally backup miles further up the highway will be funnled down again just like the situation is now, but even worse this time. Eg. The bridge is 8 lanes now. I-75 is 8 lanes from I-74 to the bridge and 6 lanes from 74 to I-275, where it becomes 8 lanes again. So they want the bridge to be 10 lanes. The highway from I-74 to the bridge will be at least 10 lanes. so they NEVER got rid of the bottleneck. this iis not including I-71 either. So what you will see is the bridge will never improve if they go with a 10 lane bridge.
  11. Cross county? Hell it started before Fields Ertle.
  12. It has several clogged arteries.I sense a total blockage soon. And ifi didn't know better, I think I-71will be busier than I-75 in no time. I was stuck in traffinc for 50 minutes this morning going southbound.I didn't see an accident or hear of any on I-71 either.

The International Basketball League, looking to put a franchise in Cincinnati, is searching for a team owner. The minor-league IBL had 17 teams during its inaugural season last year, and it plans to add eight more. The IBL schedules games so teams don't have to make more than one trip a year by plane during the season, which runs April through June. The Cincinnati franchise would not make any plane trips in its first year. Dayton, Akron and Cuyahoga Falls have franchises. The league has set a 1 p.m. news conference Monday at the Cincinnati Athletic Club to discuss its plans for the local market.
  14. Why don't they make a pitch to companies outof state instead of instate. No wonder our cities isn't growing much in Ohio like the south. The jobs move from one part of town to another and hardly bring in new jobs.

To give a people an idea where Hamilton Twp is It's about 3 miles north of the Little Miami River, straggling Rt 22/3. I drove up to morrow the other day and i was amazed what has happend to that area. Prettey soon, if not already it will be totally urbanized between morrow and Downtown on Rt22/3(Montgomery Rd). That's a distance of over 30 miles to the northeast.
  16. It's amazing to see a company make 9 billion in profit a year.
  17. Ohio and Cleveland will grow again. The cost of living and doing business will be much lower here, than in places like California and Florida. Texas has ALOT of room so i expect that place to keep on growing with cheap land.
  18. Ohh i had no clue greater Cincinnati was fading. I would not call 9% growth a decade fading.
  19. T1??? Don't that cost like $500+ a month? ;)
  20. OK i got it..so far thumbs up I got rid of roadrunner because of this screen shot below which happens most of the day since i got back from Colorado. Ohhh and i have the $19 a month service as a trial. I'll switch to 3 mbps for $34 next month. so i'm using the 512k down and up now and let me tell you online gaming has never been more smooth.
