Warren County growth
The thing about that though, is that they won't even take too much of their properties away from them. There seems to be enough right of way to put a 6 lane blvd there with out taking 100s of home unlike the 1000's they took to send I-71 through the neighborhoods. Cincinnati never regained all of the lost family that I-71 and I-75 took away from the city. That's another reason why Cincinnati lost so, so many residents. They were all displaced.

Cincinnati: Interstate 75
I think they should look at other freeways across america that has 200k per day traveling on it. and go from there. They are usually 10 lane highways with hov lanes. I think it would be cheaper to build the entire highway at grade instead of widening the already long bridge going northbound.

Isn't warren county close to 200k? I know it' s close or maybe even passed it.

That would be ALOT of sprawl. It looks like I-71 will need to be 12 lanes to accomodate all of that.

Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Projects & News
Two road projects considered Ohio 4 bypass, lanes for I-74, 275 on to-do list By Dan Klepal Only two new improvement projects for Southwest Ohio roads are being considered this year by an agency that must approve them before state tax dollars start flowing to help pay for the work. The projects - a $32.8 million widening of Ohio 4 bypass in Butler County that skirts east of Hamilton and Fairfield, and building an additional lane in each direction where Interstates 74 and 275 merge in Hamilton County for $189.3 million - won't be funded until 2011. http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20050721/NEWS01/507210360/1056

^ True i have even seen old right of way that was turned into bike trails or some sorts that could be used also. If you ever get an old map look at all the old rail lines that goes through the metro. At lot of this could be done with out taking a business or a single home except where the stations may be located.

^ Oh well tough luck. The blacks protested when they drove I-75 and I-71 through the area and it didnt' stop it. So it's the Mcmansion's turn this time.
