  2. Does anyone know the cost it took to build it? Nice building..I'm jealous..;)
  3. ^ what's was it's peak? how many riders did it have it's first year. It's called the RTA right?
  4. You know, I have never heard a person complain about smoking in a nightclub. The city took it upon itself to try to impose such a law. Dang what do these people think they are doing? making it a communist city?? This can't help bring the city more money or am I missing something. No wonder the city is losing businesses and population. They are doing what the council wants and not what the people want. Daymn do one positive thing Cincinnati.
  5. When you say no one rides it? What's the daily riders for just the rail alone?
  6. I have heard 4 metro's have removed or turned off their ramp meter systems. Austin,Columbus,Dallas and San Antonio. When I was in Columbus they seemed to be on and were always green.
  7. Wow I had no idea mill creek was all the way up there. Does anyone knows where mill creek starts? and where does it cross under I-275?
  8. The Ohio Department of Transportation will install ramp meters at all eastbound exits between Interstates 74 and 75 in Hamilton County.
  9. It's weird how they can fund the 12 billion dollar big dig that serves only the boston area, But they find it hard to come up with 750 million to fund a bridge that basicly is the backbone of the midwest and south.
  10. That place is such a neye sore I thought they were making a transit building though with everything including future light rail.
  11. I always called OTR Downtown. I think 5 k lives in OTR. And just think over 100,000 used to live there.
  12. Why does it not show how long it would take to get from shore to shore. It sounds neat though.

Liberty twp should be about to break the 30k mark. Which then the census will call it urbanized. Cincinnati urbanized population will get a big boost soon from liberty twp and middletown. It will be interesting to see if the gov will designate the Cincinnati Dayton urban area as one since they will be connected with all the sprawl in sw Ohio. Kinda like Miami and West Palm Beach has been one urbanized area for so long but was never a CSA until recently.
  14. 400-900k WHOA I guess people have more money than they know what to do with it..;)
  15. Ohio is a different animal. We love our cars. ;) Will this be a sales tax?? If so how much would it raise it.
  16. haha. Yes I was just reading that just now , but I see you already found it. You're always on the ball..:) As far as the time line, I have no idea. Remember they are going to widen I-75 from downtown to I-675 so it might be done when that construction starts. And I heard that might not start until 2008 and last 10 years???
  17. Well metro Houston didn't get their rail until the metro area reached over 4.5 million. Cincinnati has a ways to go to reach that plateau. However Cincinnati was one of the first citys to even construct mass transit rail. but the depression stopped contruction. So we have rail but it's not working. So the correct way would be to sayit's one of the largest metro without a running(working rail system). And the biggest is Phoenix, But they do have one in the works.
  18. ^lol they might as well say ghetto.;)
