Suburban Sprawl News & Discussion
It's not a once in a decade event. If the temps get to around 32 degrees and there is precipitation. There is always a chance of snow. Florida freezes at some point every year.

Cincinnati: Crime & Safety Discussion
11 people dead so far this year. wow I remember when the city was around 24 for the whole year. That was 20 years ago. Ohio needs a 3 strike law.

The one on Red banks is Fairfax. I'm sure alot of these stores are looking at the demographics of the Banks. Maybe they are waiting for more phases to come online?

General Roads & Highway Discussion (History, etc)
Hmm I guess it's the metro's fault for not investing in snow removal equipment. Atlanta is still backed up at 4am in the morning. No I do not feel sorry for them except the kids. http://www.sigalert.com/Map.asp?region=Atlanta#lat=33.75924&lon=-84.39307&z=1

Cincinnati Streetcar / The Connector News
I wish the city/county would have negotiated with UC to get phase 2 done. Instead of them remodeling their current stadium for $70 million they could have used that or half of it for phase II and have the team use Paul Brown stadium instead. Of course alot of party's would have to agree. But I see so much win win with scenario. Kinda to late for that now. :(

Cincinnati: Brent Spence Bridge
http://news.cincinnati.com/article/20140124/NEWS010802/301240102/Grimes-No-bridge-tolls-vague-source-money?nclick_check=1 I really think they need to do a full package deal with all the effected counties along the major transportation routes. Maybe an across the board sale tax increase to help rebuild the new bridge and up date the whole system including light rail. Maybe 1 and a half percent across the board. That still smaller than Tennessee sales taxes.

So Ann Murray is heading the auspices of the Transportation Committee which will over see the streetcar. Why put someone that is so against it in such a position as the head of it????? I can see crazy high fares under her leadership.
