  1. Hmm so what happens if a referendum(assuming no delays in construction) comes through and it fails after it's voted on? Isn't it still too far ahead to cancel?
  2. It will be canceled if the project is delayed 30 days because the feds will yank the money. No only that it will add more costs because of the delay. I think 600,000 was added because of the last delay.
  3. Honestly Civvik hit it right on. What company would locate here? Terrible airport with the highest prices in the nation. Terrible political scene with politicians trying to ban funds for the city. A new mayor that helped lore a company outside the city limits. That's progress?? PUHLEASE!!!!
  4. Daveinciti how can you say the operating budget would effect police if the streetcar is running? They are not even in the same budget. There is more than one budget in the city of Cincinnati. All the budgets put together is 1.2 billion. If the city could not afford 4 million then they shouldn't be a city.
  5. How far along is the car barn?
  6. The citizens got what they wanted. I guess they like torching 100+ million and NOTHING to show for it but debt. NOTHING to off set it.
  7. Why are the keep being up 50,000 a day? How much does it cost to run the city a day? Edit: 3,443,000 to run the city every day.
  8. Are they screening the calls? I have not heard one person call in 700 wlw for the streetcar.
  9. Being placed to the back of the line for future federal funds is not good. That alone should turn boys into men.

Alot of people may not like him, but Eric Deters may lose his arm because of an infection. I hope they can save it and him a full recovery.
  12. ^ No they had the lowest bid. No way would I let a city off the hook after that HUGE favor.
  13. Wow Is he sure about this? "He expressed confidence that contractors Messer Construction and Prus Construction – both local companies – would cooperate in ending the streetcar project: “I believe they will be great partners to unwind this mess.” http://news.cincinnati.com/apps/pbcs.dll/artikkel?NoCache=1&Dato=20131121&Kategori=NEWS010801&Lopenr=311210147&Ref=AR
  14. Why was he not there to ask questions??? Why was most of the non-supporters not there to ask questions?
  15. ^^Yep and all the doomsday scenarios will start to play out. Only bankruptcy can resolve the contracts and any lawsuits. But Fed money is gown forever for this project.
  16. They didn't even figure in the city credit rating which will drop and effect every financial decision going ahead. Or does the city really think the credit rating will not change?? lol
  17. Any way to make that picture larger?
  18. What company would come busting down the door to relocate here? Horribly expensive airport. Bad business environment. Just bad transportation options all around. The only thing really going for it is cheap labor and cheap housing. If I see this i'm sure the major players see this.
  19. Ouch Browns. http://regressing.deadspin.com/which-nfl-teams-have-started-the-most-quarterbacks-199-1467826931?utm_campaign=socialflow_deadspin_facebook&utm_source=deadspin_facebook&utm_medium=socialflow
  20. If it is canceled it will be far worse than the subway in terms of $$$$.
  21. Outsiders from world class cities would think the city is in a time warp.
  22. NE was robbed. They still would have had to score a TD the next play, but reverse that flag at the end was wrong.

Didn't something else happen in Camp Pendleton last week?
  24. Dalton is not the answer. He only had a good three games in Oct.
  25. ^That could be just for water to drain in the middle of the street.
