  1. What emergency clause? Duke has started.
  2. Sigh. That sucks. I thought servers were usually on a RAID where if something went wrong you can get anything back from a redundant drive.
  3. Has Mallory, Qualls or the city manager ever been invited on 700wlw to defend the project? So far it been totally one sided on that radio station.
  4. Yep it's called piling on. Why are they suing the city for 15 million, but not the state for 87 million on the Brent Spence Bridge for the cost to move the utilities there? Seems ass backwards.
  5. Well it is safe to say this will delay the project opening until after the All-Star game.
  6. Isn't phase Two from OTR to the Zoo much longer than Phase one? So that second phase may cost 100m just form these bids? How does these cost happen in Cincinnati? When they did the initial study, didn't they have engineers tell them how much it would cost? Could we have saved 20+ million if this was started two years ago?
  7. Some of these people are insane. Instead of promoting assets you have people getting paid by the city to talk negative about every action they take to improve the city. I wish we could fire council members. They are not doing their jobs. They are not promoting the city in EVERY asset they have. Too much sabotage going on with this city. Why can't the Banks sue Smitherman for slander??
  8. Has it even been on a year? People were focused too much on Mahogany.
  9. Wow a twp has a 2.25 income tax? Are all residence charged this or people in this development?
  10. ^ The area is getting too saturated with casino's and Racino's. 3 in Indiana and soon to be 3 in Ohio. Riverdowns, Downtown and Lebanon. Then again there is a casino in Orange county Indiana in French Lick that seems to be going ok with very low population in the region there.
  11. This article states it was 60 bids. http://www.bizjournals.com/cincinnati/blog/2013/01/dozens-of-construction-companies-weigh.html Did firms withdrawal their bids or it's an ongoing process?
  12. No update or people are drinking on it tonight?
  13. ^34% is not a small number. What was the highest bid? What was the lowest bid?
  14. It's a shame they are not built here in America.

That report is flawed or has been updated. Cincinnati never had 51 hours in delays per person back in 2000. I have been following the study for years. Traffic seems the same to me since 2000. I get all over the metro with my company(pest control).

http://www.wcpo.com/dpp/money/business_news/delta-air-lines-cutting-nonstop-flights-to-washington-san-francisco Lack of demand? Of course lower your ticket prices to the same as other markets.
  17. No company is too big to prosecute individuals that have done wrong. There is ALWAYS someone willing to step up and replace them.
  18. Wow did downtown Cincinnati really lose 20,000 jobs in 10 years like this article says? Why isn't the vacancy rates higher? http://news.cincinnati.com/article/20130203/BIZ01/302030019/Trend-Moving-lower-paying-jobs-burbs?nclick_check=1
  19. No doubt considering most of the listeners don't even live in the city of Cincinnati.
  20. They need to rethink the Methodology of these yearly estimates. They were off big time the past decade. I doubt that business journals have the resources to even estimate correctly. I heard they used some type of software. Not all data is available for all cities every year. And Dayton is on pace to add 12k a year?
  21. I think they already stopped using the Tram. It wasn't running the past few times I have been there.
  22. Hopefully once it up and running the governor will release the funds for Phase II.

OK ill try to clear all my cookies. And see if that works. It was fine before the winter. Oh I use Chrome on windows 7.
  24. LOL@the Enquirer. I had to chuckle when I read the headline. "'The streetcar is happening"
  25. Keep trying you are still about 80,000 jobs behind just since the first of the year. You did notice the unemployment rate went up right and the job growth number was basically a wash. Aren't we better off than 10 years ago? We just had a recession. We are doing well since then. The dow cracked 14,000 today. No other president can say that.
