I have been getting this error for weeks now when i try to post on a thread. What's causing it?
  2. Why would someone use skymiles on a discounted flight and not on the more expensive flights?
  3. Yeah they matched them. http://news.cincinnati.com/comments/article/20130129/BIZ01/130129020/Sizing-up-CVG-s-new-low-cost-carrier Can the KY legislature make a bill where airlines can only use the mean average fare across their entire network? Instead of setting the fares as high as possible?
  4. ^ The first phase is funded.
  5. Who makes up the downtown boundaries? The census or the city?
  6. http://news.cincinnati.com/article/20130125/NEWS/301250050/EXCLUSIVE-Battle-rages-heart-local-NAACP?nclick_check=1 Hmm, so this is why Smitherman is against the streetcar. Under Smitherman, the local NAACP opposes the streetcar planned for Downtown and Over-the-Rhine because it does not address the transportation problems faced by many African-Americans who need to be connected to job centers and shopping.
  7. Looks like Milwaukee's system is opening next year. I wonder how they got enough federal funds to fund almost the entire project, but Cincinnati only got 25 million? They have had their issues with utilities as well. http://www.bizjournals.com/milwaukee/news/2013/01/23/milwaukee-streetcar-on-pace-for-2014.html
  8. $519 is the average airfare at CVG. http://news.cincinnati.com/article/20130124/BIZ/301240115/CVG-airfares-rank-second-highest-nation?nclick_check=1
  9. Talk about a boondoggle. 49% of the bridge will not be covered by gas taxes!! http://dc.streetsblog.org/2013/01/23/drivers-cover-just-51-percent-of-u-s-road-spending/
  10. ^I bet if a journalist try to touch that story they will be fired.
  11. Im not sure how they come up with this stuff. People are already spending more for electricity and natural gas compared to last winter. If you average bill was $400 it will be $500 if this is approved. Does PUCO only oversee Ohio or it is multi-state? Did they ask for a rate increase in North Carolina as well? Edit. Nope it's not just Ohio. They want an 18% increase in North Carolina as well. http://www.mountainx.com/article/48016/CWNC-to-host-rally-opposing-Duke-Energy-rate-increase
  12. ^ So far it's a request, not an increase.

  14. ^ How much of that is on the Ohio side?
  15. I rather have everything done right instead of rushing before the All-Star game.
  16. ^ I never knew about the airporter downtown. Only $2 nice.
  17. Yeah it's pretty ridiculous. I just hope we don't lose our major companies because of it. I don't count Chiquita as major. Which had about 300 workers locally. Compared to P&G which has over 12,000. locally. The big companies use Lunken more often than we know.
  18. Wrong. Cincinnati, OH $526.25 Memphis, TN $519.97 Houston Bush, TX $504.58 Huntsville, AL $502.80 Washington Dulles $485.35 Newark-Liberty, NJ $470.78 Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN $454.39 Madison, WI $454.09 Cleveland, OH $449.90 Dallas-Fort Worth, TX $449.42
  19. ^ That's giving Delta a reason to not ever drop their prices. I rather spend my money on another airline.
  20. ^Hmmm. I don't know how often you fly, but i know my brother saved over $200 from Indy to San Diego compared to Cincy to San Diego. He would have NEVER searched Indianapolis if the prices were not so high. My cousin also flies into Dayton from San Francisco. When he comes into town. So it's also expensive to fly into Cincinnati as well.
  21. There is no perception. It has the highest ticket prices in all of the USA. No wonder the locally generated airline traffic is down. They go to other surrounding airports.
  22. Well there was a scary moment for me about 2 hours ago. I was in the middle of a shootout in bond hill. I was in the carryout lane when 2 guys came running and shooting right next to my car. I had to took off and left my food at this place when the shooter when to the other side of the store. Thank god he payed more attention to the guy he was shooting at then at me. I went back about 30 mins later when the police was there. They had one guy in handcuffs. I saw another slump down at the front door of this restaurant. Im not sure if he was shot or not. Wow even just getting a carryout something can jump off at any moment.
  23. Just had the first murder of 2013. Tulsa, ok already has 8. And also it's funny how local news bury some of the crime. Like a robbery in MT Lookout on Christmas eve. The story only come out today about it and it's buried in the news site as well. http://eastside.fox19.com/news/crime/102570-videowoman-robbed-mount-lookout-atm
  24. ^Even more reason the city got their order in as fast as possible.
  25. Anyone know how Honolulu can afford a 5.3 billion dollar light rail line but Ohio can't? That's $45,000 per resident there.
