  1. ^They must have done a poor job at advertising. I never see or heard a commercial.
  2. $5 is way too much. Reduce that and add a fee to driver license and vehicle registrations and tags.
  3. Just have the government print a 3 billion dollar coin for the bridge. lol I wonder. Are the bridges and roads we rebuilt in Iraq tolled? Is that bridge that was rebuilt in Minneapolis tolled as well? Is the Big Dig tolled? If not why?
  4. ^Some income is better than no income. $13 an hour is not bad for the midwest.

  6. I hear they are mentioning another alternative plan to route I-71 through southern Boone, Kenton and Campbell county. From Richwood over to I-471. I don't see how it can be done. Too many steep hills.
  7. I doubt that. They are going to put tolls on any widening in the area and the Brent Spence Bridge.
  8. Anyone know if a homicide is counted in one area but not counted where it originated from? Eg. Someone is shot in Ky, but NKY does not have a trauma center. So those victims are transported to Ohio and may die there.
  9. Cincinnati ended the year with 53 homicides. -20% from 2011.
  10. ^Baggers in Australia gets $20 an hour.
  11. So after 20 years of construction there will be a net gain of zero lanes??

Yes they are naming winter storms now. Cincinnati will get more snow in this storm than all of the entire last winter combined.
  13. Accomplished!!! Next step is win a playoff game.
  14. Well here you go. Hot lanes. http://news.cincinnati.com/article/20121222/BIZ/312220070/Hate-idea-bridge-tolls-Try-

Mr Kasich has done it again. Nation attention too. Giving a murderer clemency, because he's too fat for an injection.
  17. Yes, head to head record is the first tie-breaking procedure: http://www.nfl.com/standings/tiebreakingprocedures The Bengals need to step up and beat Pittsburgh. As of right now, they control their own destiny. The second tie breaker is division record, so even if the Bengals beat Pittsburgh, then lose to Baltimore, and Pittsburgh wins their last game, the Bengals are out. They need to win both games to make it easy. If the Bengals beat Pittsburgh, the Steelers are out. The best they would finish is 8-8. The Bengals would be 2 games up with one to play. Bottom line beat Pittsburgh.
  18. Hmmm. Is that a state thing where you can set a different sales tax for different parts of the county of city? I heard of TIF used in Ohio for small districts.
  19. A win Sunday the Bengals make the playoff's.
  20. ^Question? How does a 1% sales tax increase and property tax increase only fund a streetcar? Didn't metro moves have a 1% sales tax increase that would have funded light rail for most of the region(Hamilton County)?

Middletown should annex nearby twp's such as Clear creek and Turtle creak twp. They they can control development somewhat.
  22. No way the bridge should go back to 3 lanes. I remember the jams back in the 80's. Traffic would be much worse if you reduced lanes. I have no idea why they just can't give all three lanes northbound at the bridge no entry point. And give The 12th street entrance and 4th street the 4th lane across the bridge. Put a ramp meter regulating the merge of 12th and 4th street at the bridge. Southbound would be much harder to fix without widening the overpasses and the US 50 merge for 3 lanes southbound on I-75 for the bridge. Have a ramp meter regulate US 50 traffic southbound onto I-75.
  23. One question is will they toll all the other interstate bridges as well? Maybe .25 cents one way. There is 4 interstate bridges on the Ohio river around Cincinnati.

    RIP: Robert Pence
  25. They must be avoiding fee's to plates and licenses for future projects. Im not sure about how additional sales tax can happen in Ky since every county has the same sales tax.
