  1. This is serious. The Governor of both states should step up.

I don't find any of those numbers in the same ball park. We are talking about millions of dollars lost in federal funds in most cases.
  3. 70 flights a day? impossible.
  4. Didn't they own it before hand? I guess they took a $88 million loss on the deal. I guess they will resale it to a commercial builder.
  5. The train was going below the posted limit.
  6. ^Did he even talk about the hike in rates Dukes want???????
  7. I wonder if it took that curve too fast.
  8. ^ Was the 3C rail going to use that or use exiting tracks?
  9. You're female? Opps I got my answer. Cool.
  10. If you are isolated from the world, you will be isolated from resources. Businesses would start to leave and I mean big ones. Chiquita is puny compared to some of the bigger companies in the area.
  11. OTR the people living in between could have choose to live in Adams or Brown county. They didn't, because of I-75 and the proximity of the two metro's. Dallas Ft Worth was not always connected. They had to start some where. Seattle Tacoma were not always connected. They had to start somewhere. Minneapolis St Paul were not always connected but they had to start somewhere. Orlando Daytona does not look connected but the Census says they are. Every region is different. Every situation is different. The point is a lot of people live in this region, more so than most everyone thinks. A combined Cincinnati and Dayton and eventually MSA will make the region more recognizable not to just this country, but to the world.
  12. ^Taxpayers or ratepayers?
  13. Nothing wrong with that. It is what it is.
  14. The map I used was here. http://tigerweb.geo.census.gov/tigerweb/default.htm To bring it to scale it wouldn't allow me to show roads unless I zoomed in closeer.
  15. And they are bitching about the cost of moving manhole covers. UNREAL.
  16. 2000 Cincinnati and Dayton urban areas. 2010 The Cincinnati/Middletown/Dayton urban area.
  17. It is suppose to cost 68 billion. That is a TON of money. How many trips will it take to pay it off? Im all about rail but that is too astronomical. Wouldn't it be cheaper to have free flights between the cities? lol
  18. ^ You mean people right? Because murder is murder regardless.
  19. ^Wow that's insane and we wonder why our rates are so high.
  20. Eww that makes the Bengals look BAD, but there is a reason for it. Honestly they had 55+ straight sell out before this past season. With Carson gone they didnt know what to expect for the season.

^Why are you on the backs of Ohio's cities? It's not like anyone of us here can do anything about it. People point positive evidence your way and you totally ignore them, yet choose to believe in estimates that was wrong in an entire decade.
  22. My god did Chabot know what he was doing? Or Chris finney or what ever his name is wrote the amendment and forwarded it to Chabot?
  23. I think Ohio is slowly rolling them out. There is one far east of Columbus on I-70 westbound. The Indy metro has the same kind of signs.
  24. New destination signs have gone up between Cincinnati and Dayton on I-75.
  25. Wait would metro lose funding for 2 years??????? They run on the shoulders on I-71 and it was going to be expanded.. Although outside of Cincinnati but Metro is based in Cincinnati. The funds flow through Cincinnati.
