Cincinnati Bengals Discussion
Cincy complains a lot about their sports teams. I was in DC last week and someone said trying being a Washington FAN. They win at NOTHING among ALL their teams.

Cincinnati: Interstate 75
Im in DC right now and on I-495. They use the outside berm as an extra lane during rush hour. Im not sure why that can't be used here or after I-75 is complete. They just have a green LED sign pointing to the berm if it can be sued or an red X if it can't be used.

Cincinnati: Crime & Safety Discussion
All i know is that a town in Indiana had a whole family and a neighbor killed so im sure that per capita rate is was way higher than Cincinnati's for 2011.

Cincinnati: Crime & Safety Discussion
There i has been alot of murders in rural counties committed by whites. Why don't they put those number in there? They act like Cincinnati is the only dangerous place.

Their stocked just turned to junk status.

Sears / Kmart News
It makes you wonder what kind of intelligence, sort of speak, did the Governor have going after this company. 19 quarters of sales decline should have told him or anyone something.

CVG-Downtown Cincinnati Light Rail
Im not sure how metro moves would have paid for the airport connection, since it was only voted on in Hamilton county. Further more i can't see how a county(Boone) of 100,000 can pay for it Even Kenton county with it's population of 150,000.

Cincinnati Streetcar / The Connector News
"City leaders’ strong leadership on the streetcar issue, combined with voters’ rejection of Issue 48, an anti-streetcar measure on last month’s ballot, helped lift Cincinnati’s application from the hundreds submitted to the U.S. Department of Transportation, LaHood said."

Cincinnati Streetcar / The Connector News
What's the process of getting that bans for state funds taken off that amendment? We can really use those funds for phase 2. There is no good reason it should be or ever been there. The voters have spoken.

Non-Ohio Light Rail / Streetcar News
What's wrong with people in this country? They think they will have cheap gas forever. I rather be prepared than sorry.
-
Cincinnati Streetcar / The Connector News
Look at this comment from one the the news sites. How can they even allow nonfactual posts like this? "I can't understand it. All they gotta do is change the route to go from downtown to Hyde Park, and people would probably support it. That is essentially the same distance, and there are actually people in Hyde Park who have money to spend downtown which would make the claim that it will bring business more beleiveable."

Sears / Kmart News
Now Ohio should use that 400 million in incentives and try to bring in 4 F500 companies at 100 million each.

Cincinnati Streetcar / The Connector News
Why didn't Ky go for these grants as well to tie into the Cincinnati side?

Dayton to Cincinnati Commute
LOL. I'm all about bike commuting, but I don't think I would do this. Maybe occasionally for the heck of it, but not regularly. The only way I might do it is if buses were allowed to use shoulder lanes and avoid traffic. Then it might actually be faster than driving. Wasn't there a pilot program for buses to use the existing shoulders? That was on I-71. I would assume they would use it on I-75 as well with the newer wider shoulders.

Sears / Kmart News
Guys. Sears has not accepted the deal as of yet. What they are waiting on, i have no idea. If they did move they would face the negative impact of the 3rd largest media market in the united states. Most would not shop Sears again.

Cincinnati: Downtown: The Banks
Did they clear up the homeless problem along 2nd and 3rd street? I used to see them every evening on the benches down there a year or two back.
