  1. If the citizens of the city of Cincinnati are smart. They will defeat this and take no chances.
  2. Again what's the penalty for ignoring the ban? The ban on the state level, how long does that last?
  3. Aren't these states and schools suffering from all the tax breaks giving to companies in the past???
  4. W&S is not looking good here. If they win, it will look even worse.
  5. Hmm The President mentioned the Brent Spence bridge last light. Hopefully we can get funds for this soon.
  6. Why would they rewrite something when the people that signed the ballot was because of how it was written????? Do they have to resign the ballot??? I wouldn't mind but this is dirty politics.

  9. Wow Vegas was getting like Miami. Nice pics. Did you drive out there???

  11. ^ So they are going to make the same mistake they did in the 50's now in the 2010's by not making I-75 wide enough and for future widening or light rail. DUMB if you ask me. Well i guess if gas get's to $10 a gallon they can rip out a lane or two in each direction to put one in. Ohio is not efficient when they plan things.
  12. Anyone know if this will be light rail ready down the median? I know the new Paddock bridge can't accommodate light rail down the median.
  13. http://cincinnati.com/blogs/eyeontheeastside/2011/08/26/columbia-twp-gets-grant-to-check-for-contamination/ High-rise condos coming to Columbia Twp.? By Rob Dowdy • [email protected] COLUMBIA TWP. –Demetrios IV restaurant on Plainville Road will close Nov. 1 to make way for high-rise condominiums, according to the owner. Carl Vasiliou, owner of Demetrios IV, said he’s sold his property to Greiwe Development Group, which plans to turn his location – and possibly several others on Plainville – into high-rise condominiums with store fronts. This comes as township officials are preparing the Plainville Road area for potential future development with the help of a federal grant.
  14. ^ Isn't that like someone taking over walmart? Honestly there should never be companies that large. If they fail It will bring down WAY WAY too many things with them.

  20. Im not sure how you can make a 2 trillion dollar error, but it has happened. US credit rating downgraded for the first time ever.
  21. The Dow is down 350.
  22. The internet is killing our economy too. Book stores are closing down. Retail is closing down. We are just too lazy as a society and rather support an online outfit from California than your local shops.

"A spokeswoman for Sears said any talks about the company's possible move are purely speculative." I say purely extortion. lol
  24. How does one spend 50 million at the drop of the bucket then abandon the project????
  25. unusualfire replied to a post in a topic in Roads & Biking
2016? That would start much much sooner than i thought. I-75 will not be finished by then and all that extra traffic will be on I-71. People are so UNINFORMED in this city. They are comparing this with the streetcar as in the city don't have any money. This is mostly a county project. Most funds will come from Federal dollars.
