Any one know how long the Governor been a resident of Ohio? I know he worked for Leeman bro's in NYC. I don't know if Ohio has a requirement or not. It has me wounding since this happened to Carl Lewis today. http://www.cnn.com/2011/POLITICS/04/26/carl.lewis.ineligible/index.html?hpt=T2
  4. ^LOL OF course. The country has 5 times the population. My worry would be using the Chinese currency instead of the Dollar to trade oil. Of course we could just stop buying products made in China, however China would demand theirmoney that's owed to them by the US.
  5. ^ This area is so built up and expensive i don't see how you can bring light rail through this area unless it's down I-71. Well this project has gotten a head start on Rookwood. So that will help greatly.
  6. Which airline will survive the high fuel prices? I think all cheap fairs are on their way out the door.
  7. From the first page of this thread. This would be awesome. We have come such a long way since 2006.

  11. http://money.cnn.com/2011/04/20/markets/dollar_euro/index.htm?hpt=T2 NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- The dollar took a beating Wednesday, losing ground to a range of currencies, and falling to its lowest level against the euro in 15 months. And that's pretty much been the trend in recent months. At the start of the year, the euro was trading at $1.33 against the dollar, but has since surged to $1.45 against the beleaguered greenback. The dollar index, which measures the U.S. dollar against a basket of currencies, has fallen 5% so far this year to around 74, as jittery investors flocked to the dollar for safety. That's down from a high near 87 in June of 2009. The continued weakening of the dollar -- if you go by reputation -- is a little puzzling. The dollar is thought of as a safe haven asset in times of turmoil. If you look at the past four months, it's hard to find anything but unsettling events. Japan. Egypt. Libya. Eurozone debt. But the dollar has failed to appreciate.

$5 a gallon is good for the long run bad for the short run. Europe has been paying $6+ for more than a decade. They have adjusted. The 3c's rail would have been a bargain.

Wow i can't believe the Pirates are going ot take 3 of 4 from the Reds at home. What happened to the starting pitching? I know the bullpen needs rest badly.
  14. Honestly i can only see a refurbished bridge. With rising gasoline prices that may me there will be less taxes to collect on the gallon of gas. The longer it takes the more likely we won't see a new bridge.
  15. This thread has been going on for quite a few years(2004) now. The original price was 750 million. Now it's 3 billion. Why are they dragging their feet? They want it to be 6 billion before it even starts????
