  1. Went down hill once they paid off terrorists.
  2. lol I thought that said "Coast" for a second there..lol They would have never come up with numbers like that.
  3. The planes need new fuel as well. Hopefully they can develop something before oil runs out.
  4. They are getting a new editor. YAY.
  5. Hmm Is that speculation? Or this reporter actually talked to all the CEO's? You would thing the Governor of Ohio would know something about the situation since most of the companies are located in Ohio. I would never believe a reporter would have bette access to a CEO of a company than a reporter would. be. If Ohio was smart they would revamp Lunken and get SW in there or build a new airport between Cincinnati and Dayton. Getting 14 billion for a new airport is another issue in it's self.
  6. Hmm don't bridges freeze before roads? The water lines better be very insulated and heated.
  7. Bungles are back full force.
  8. Duke had to know all along, along with the city. No way that price can be so high for just a couple of miles of replacement. Will the Streetcar run right down the middle of the road? Will it run curb side? Is there a minimum height that streetcars can run with live wires above? Find competent engineers to fix these problems. Can't believe this is even comes up, AFTER we get the 65 million from the feds.
  9. Columbus can help the other metros by helping or giving more grants to new start up businesses. There is no need to move branches around. Also Columbus can help by helping create consolidated city/county like Louisville and Jefferson county in Ky. Help get rid of the red tape.
  10. Bad timing for the census. I see a ton of for rent and for sale signs with no one living in them.
  11. Funding nationwide is a joke. Boston gets 14 billion for a leaking tunnel. Wisconsin gets $810 million to connect 2.5 million people through high speed rail, yet Ohio only gets 400 million to connect 7+ million people through high speed rail and we are pissing it away. lol
  12. ^ I don't know but it could be worse. Baltimore and New Orleans are pushing 200 murders each. The sprawl belt cities are sky high too. Orlando, Charlotte, Atlanta . The works.
  13. I remember an issue last year that's much better than any poll. ISSUE 9. We voted No. SO that means we want rail in this State.
  14. I don't know why people are against stuff so much when it's not their money being used.
  15. They expect people to walk to the center in the dead of winter? Or this will cover the whole span? How much weight can the bridge hold?
  16. ^Better yet have him ride the route by car.
  17. I mentioned a concept like this but with condo's a few years back.
  18. Ohioan's voted no on issue 9. Which meant we wanted rail.
  19. ^ Well it could have peaked in 1955, but i guess we will never know.
  20. ^Losing 400m is a HUGE deal.
  21. I never seen an elect handicap a state before they even get into office.
  22. Can Strickland use some of the funds now so they can't send it back?
  23. ^Im sure costs would be a reason not to have it on at night all time. Im sure the bill is about 4k a month. Once the tenants are in there, it maybe on all the time then.
  24. The next time Ohio decides to get more federal funds for passenger rail i guarantee we will not be in front because of this decision. This guy is derailing future funding as well.
  25. Special teams gave up 17 points.
