Detroit is still much larger than Minneapolis, However there GDP is only 10 billion apart.

I have seen a recent list of GDP of certain metro area's. Why are some GDP's so different with different metro area's? Even some metro's with identical population or even higher population show vastly different GDP. What's making GDP raise or fall?
  3. ^Honestly i see glaring mistakes for city populations on that site. When did phoenix get 2.3 million the city???
  4. No wonder Dallas is fast growing. Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert told CNNMoney that a growth has been spurred in part by a favorable business climate: no corporate income tax, reasonable building costs and minimal regulations. The report also mentioned Dallas/Fort Worth International, the third busiest airport in the nation: "Dallas has no port," said Leppert. "The airport became a 21st century port." http://cincinnati.bizjournals.com/dallas/stories/2010/06/21/daily13.html

    The yearly June swoon.
  6. This kinda sums it up. In New Jersey, taxes are high, the budget's a mess, government is inefficiently organized, and the public pension fund is blown to kingdom come. Which makes New Jersey a lot like most other states in 2010. What makes the state unusual is its rookie governor, a human bulldozer named Chris Christie, who vowed to lead like a one-termer and is keeping his promise with brio. He has proposed chopping $11 billion from the state's budget — more than a quarter of the total — for fiscal year 2011 (which starts July 1). He's backing a constitutional cap on property taxes in hopes of pushing the state's myriad villages and townships to merge into more efficient units. 7. Yeah, you are right, it was Penn. My cousin graduated from there.
  8. Cincinnati was 10.7 in March. http://www.bls.gov/eag/eag.oh_cincinnati_msa.htm
  9. Isn't Penn state in a rough area? Like much worse than anything in Ohio..lol How do they report such things?
  10. What's MTA? Isn't Clevelands RTA or something?
  11. There is and will ALWAYS be crime. Sometimes reporting everything can be a bad thing if you trying to get more students into the area. If you don't do drugs you will be just fine. Your chances are much higher of dying in an automobile crash then getting shot or murdered.
  12. Promote the students to do a community watch then. Have a group of them patrol the streets and report signs of crimes.
  13. Well they were notified if you and i know it happened. Students can't be that naive from not knowing what's going on around them.
  14. ^Honestly what would that have done? They didn't put out a statement when that guy stabbed his daughter in-law 2 weeks ago.
  15. This will need hot lanes badly. I would have gladly payed today.

If that is the case they are not listening to their customers. I know for a fact many people will not fly Delta for the simple fact of what they have done. Ignoring and not fixing problems on makes customers more pissed.

I guarantee you Cleveland's fairs have been DRAMATICALLY lower there then CVG the past 15 or so years. Im talking about a good 30%- 40% lower. If CLE had CVG fair the numbers would be FAR worse than it is now.
  20. It's getting worldwide attention now.

Welcome. ;) We have had a shortage of women on this forum lately.
  25. They could use the median in some area's for a rest stop area. I see it all the time on toll roads. Basically the businesses there pay for it.
