Why can't these new interchanges bring in new companies(from Portland, Dallas, Oklahoma city, etc etc) instead of companies that's already located in the region????

Just as everyone suspected. The new interchange is moving around jobs and not really creating jobs that were not in the region before hand.

The administration is working on that right now. We will need to do this to show them we are serious. This will also help when funding for the light rail comes around again. The Federal Gov will think we are serious then. I do wonder how much Boise is putting into their system.

Developers with TONS of cash more often than not get's zoning changed. The next question would be which developer would risk the development if there is not much demand for it. I know people have said build it and they will come. But i think companies these days wants more than that.
