  1. Those number don't tell the whole story. I know several people that never went to college and is more successful then people who have.
  2. When they lost their hub, the economy didn't accelerate down is what im saying. They had leaders keeping companies in the region.
  3. Well the economy didn't lose much when they lost their hub.
  4. Cleveland and Cincinnati can learn from Pittsburgh. They lost their hub and is doing quite well considering.
  5. Who owns Broadway commons? Have the owners said they would sale to a casino outfit?
  6. Just wait until oil is bought in Euro's instead of the dollar. I don't blame them for switching.
  7. http://www.forbes.com/2009/10/26/safest-cities-ten-lifestyle-real-estate-metros-msa_chart.html Safest metro that is.
  8. Why isn't this called fraud?????
  9. WOW Did they turn on a switch????
  10. I think the majority wants rail. But the minority like Smitherman doesn't. So we COULD get screwed by the minority.
  11. ^ Because it's the voters money, not the council members. Again im for the rail. And want this issue 9 defeated. If i was a resident of the city i would want to vote on major issues like rail sewers or what ever. It would effect their paychecks, property taxes, etc, etc. All of this and yet no new jail. lol
  12. Question about issue 9. If it passes, rail is not dead if the voters pass any rail initiative that comes through Cincinnati right? What are the worried about if the majority wants rail or don't want rail? If the citizens wants it. It will pass. If they don't it won't pass. Are the leaders wanting to push something on the citizens even though they don't want it? Im all for the rail. However i just don't want the leaders doing anything that the majority doesn't want.

wow Maybe that's why they accepted that deal so fast. They knew what was coming.
  14. With the Bengals in town could the Bearcats fill a 100k seater?
  15. Will the steel rise above the core?
  16. ^If the building was located on 4th street it would be. 3rd street is lower in elevation than 4th street.
  17. WTF. Why don't teams find a couch that's not in a contract. Why do they always try to take something away from Cincy? Why don't they find someone from Washington state or something. Yes im talking about ND, Ohio state, etc etc.
  18. Man doesn't that stink. I think this upset pretty much knocks them out of a national title game.
  19. ^ No kidding. I don't even think about OSU. You can't just drop them on the regular season schedule this year so it's a moot point. Then if UC losses to OSU in a game, then UC will be in a worse position than before hand.
  20. Any idea how tall it is over the surrounding buildings now? Taller than the chemed?
  21. Fun times. Elder/Colerain played on espn, Bengals are doing well and now the Bearcats. PS Erin Andrews is a nice looking woman.
  22. ^ Right because it's a city issue not a county issue.
  23. At least this mayor wants to do something. Oil is bought in dollars around the world and now they want to change it. If it does happen. Watch our price in gas skyrocket worse than what we saw last year. If we don't have other ways of getting people to work. This town is going to be deader than a door nail.
  24. Cincy needs something unique. What happen to the people mover that used single cars(small) above ground? Skytram?
