  1. It seems like a nice enough zoo, from what I have seen from on-line pics (not a resident of Cleveland metro or OH, yet :-)) I don't think the pricing is too bad. Off-topic question, why does a bridge go through the middle of the zoo? I think Fulton Ave. or Rd.
  2. Is any of this project getting started? The park-- Central Riverfront Park, is that still a part of the project?

  5. It's headquartered here, just an FYI. You're right. It mergered with Wendy's in 1995. It stayed a separate entity though. The same year it entered the U.S. market; according to the site, I just found: http://www.timhortons.com/en/about/history_1995.html But, apparently it got its start in Hamilton, Ontario in 1964. Interesting
  6. Where are some places around OH to get a good donut? I want mostly local places, but chains, especially Tim Hortons and DD, (no KK), are welcome as well. BTW, are there any Tim Horton's located in OH?
  7. Brian Williams broadcasted tonight from Columbus. Mostly because of mid-term elections. They profiled Mike DeWine and Sherrod Brown, both campaigning for the state senate race. Ohio seems to be a major battleground state.

I found the opposite. SSP has some type of problem where you cant view anything unless you you're a logged in user. It will get a busy signal some time. SSC use to get it, but I haven't been getting it lately.

Yes, I would call myself a hardcore "foodie". I was just wondering what exactly kind of store was Meijer. No, that is not factoring into my moving there.

No, just interested in what others think of this place. We don't have any down here on the Gulf Coast. I had heard of this place from a friend whose uncle lives in Indianapolis (they have them there as well). Anyway, I was thinking of moving to Cincinnati in a year or so and I found out they had Meijer there so I was interested.

What do you think this store? I know its not based in Ohio (headquartered in Grand Rapids, MI) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meijer http://www.meijer.com/ It seems they only have about 170 stores in 5 states in Midwest (half being in MI). They seem comparable in products and pricing to a Target or that other place. But it seems like it is more regional/local being that it is so small. (Btw, I am not a resident of OH at all. I live in the Gulf Coast region. I have been browsing around and thinking about moving up that way in a couple of years, Cincy is on my mind a lot.)
