Old Oaks, Columbus
My old stomping grounds! Yeah the calming circles are small but people used to drive really fast down all of those side streets and a couple of kids were hit by cars a few years back so they really help now. Thanks for the pics!

Columbus: Huntington Park (Clippers ballpark)
Although I do like the ballpark in the Arena District, I wish it could have been closer to the River.

Columbus: Downtown: Franklin County Government Center Projects
Wow.... we (City of Columbus) get an opportunity to get another building downtown, and once again we lost with this project.

UrbanOhio Columbus Meet 2007 - THIS SATURDAY, November 3rd, 11am
Thanks everybody for your thoughts, prayers ,and the jokes  It looks like the meet went well and Rando the pics were great. I think someone said it before, we gotta get to some of the inner city 'hoods' of Columbus just to show something other than the Short North. Nothing wrong with that but i think Columbus has a lot more to offer.

UrbanOhio Columbus Meet 2007 - THIS SATURDAY, November 3rd, 11am
I want to apologize to UO for not showing up to the meeting. On Friday night my brother was a victim in a home invasion. In the process of protecting himself, his wife and two young children, the robbers shot my brother in the back. He is okay and he just had surgery this morning to remove the bullet. So sorry I missed my first meet and hopefully I will make it to the next meet.

With all of the cuts and adjustments they want to make, they might as well scrap the entire building. Smh

I just thought this pick was kinda scary with the 1 car on the highway.... almost like a ghost-town

Columbus: Downtown: Highpoint / Columbus Commons
If my city wants people to come downtown all times of the day, they need to turn City Center into a Casino downstairs and turn the top floors into a hotel/Restaurant/shops.... I know when I go to visit my girlfriend in St. Louis, their Downtown mall is pretty dead but there are always people downtown because of the river casinos. This would really bring lots of tourists and people downtown all the time.

Columbus: From the Rhodes Tower (Part I)
Yeah that is where the old Ampetheatre used to be but now there is a removable stage that goes up during Rib & Jazz fest and other events that need a stage. So the steps are like sitting areas to listen to the music, you know!

Columbus: Downtown: Arena District Developments and News
yubh8tin replied to CMH_Downtown's post in a topic in Central & Southeast Ohio Projects & ConstructionMan... Nationwide works really fast! They knocked the 20 stories out like it was 4. We need Nationwide behind every project in C-Bus. Now we need the Main St. Bridge to make some progress, the new Ballpark, and the courthouse!
