Goat on a trampoline
The news article really needs to be Samuel L. Jacksonified... Hell no, the township says, they're a violation of the motherf***in' zoning code, which clearly defines "household pets'' as dogs, cats, birds, snakes of less than 6 feet, mice, gerbils, ferrets, hamsters, minks, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, turtles, lizards, iguanas and pot-f***in'-bellied pigs. No motherf***in' goats on motherf***in' trampolines! As Township Administrator David Duckworth put it: "If your dumb ass lives in a subdivision, if you buy a house, do you want motherf***in' goats in your neighbor's motherf***in' back yard?''

Goat on a trampoline
Glad I'm not the only one who made a Snakes on a Plane/Goat on a Trampoline connection in my mind!

Cincinnati: Ohio River: Paddlefest 2006
Totally cool... I always enjoy that perspective from down on the river. It makes the river look huge!

Dayton: Oakwood: Photos - 7.8.06
Very nice! The thing that always fascinates me about Oakwood is the contrast between east and west of Far Hills- gridded streets and pretty dense housing on the east, and all those nice mansions and Olmsted stuff on the west. In all, quite a nice suburb!

CincinnatiRoads.com: UPDATED 02/2007, with OTR!
We have some new videos up now- ten of them on nine streets in Mt. Adams. RiverViewer recorded them a few weeks ago and I finally got my arse in gear and got them up there. So have a gander, and as always any feedback is welcome! www.cincinnatiroads.com

Photography/Photoshop tips and tricks?
Based on your description of the task, grasscat, I'm guessing that perhaps the images don't overlap one another... is that correct? If so, that'd prevent this particular program from doing anything useful in this case. BTW Rich, I don't think they actually have the be in order with this one; it figures out the correct order.

Photography/Photoshop tips and tricks?
This is my best friend for panoramas: http://www.cs.ubc.ca/~mbrown/autostitch/autostitch.html (Praise be to richNcincy for posting about that way back when.) I only attempt to do it manually in Photoshop if that program doesn't do it right, which is rare. In that case I paste each image in as a layer, add a layer mask to it, and then use that to make a gradient from 0 to 100% transparency in the overlap area, thus making a blend from one image to the next. But that doesn't account for any distortions so it doesn't always turn out well. And of course none of that solves a large file problem.

Cincinnati Reds Discussion
Never leave the game before it's over! Inkaelin, sorry, but I think we're going to have to hope you get a flat tire or something tonight. :-D

Cincinnati: Fountain Square: Development and News
I think it's a cool idea to have the different icon depending on planned events at a particular time (if I'm reading that right). As for the design of the logo, it doesn't stir any emotions in me one way or the other. I guess I wouldn't want to see it placed too close to the actual fountain, though.

Urban Ohio Premier of "Cincy Images Presents... CINCINNATI" *VIDEO*
Works for me. Looks good... how could it not when all your photos kick so much ass? Only thing I might suggest is perhaps some different transitions or something instead of zooming in or out a bit on some of them.

STICKY: What do you want to see???
Just wanted to post that I have not forgotten about the maps, but it turns out I have been fairly well-occupied with other things this summer and haven't gotten around to thinking about them. But I assure you they are still on my mind and maybe I'll get to them eventually! Oh, and thanks for that link two months ago, pope.

When is a favorites list no longer effective?
Holy crap! I have 16 which I visit with any regularity, and maybe 60 more that I rarely or never go back to. And for some reason it takes me many months of visiting a site a lot before actually getting around to bookmarking it.

What a terrible Columbus meet!
^ Cesspool? I wish! :-D My camera is a FujiFilm Finepix S5100 or something... although there is probably a newer model now. It's the same camera ColDayMan has, by the way, and I'm pretty sure I saw one or two more at the meet. It's a popular choice!

What do 32% of Bush Supporters think of the other 60% of Americans? *VIDEO*
I think the crap that comes from the far right is a lot more offensive than the crap that comes from the far left. Certainly lumping the entire "32%" together as ignorant hate-mailers is disingenuous, but really many of the things in that video are more blunt versions of the letters to the editor etc. that I see in the paper all the time. It seems like every other day there is someone implying--if not explicitly stating--that liberal Democrats hate America or support terrorists or are enemies of God, and so on. I personally am angered and offended that so many people would say such things about me because I might fall on the left side of some issue. Meanwhile, rarely or never is there a lefty letter-writer making similarly serious accusations against conservative citizens. (And I am speaking of the back-and-forth between Average Joes, not the politicians... the politicians only calculate how best to encourage the Average Joes to say those things on their behalf.) Yes, I've seen plenty of examples of liberals calling conservatives stupid, but really, who hasn't called someone stupid before? I'd rather be called stupid than a traitor.
