Cincinnati: Downtown: Queen City Square
Oh, I think some sources will say 48 and some 49; I assume the discrepancy has to do with what is essentially the stairway exit at the top. There's room enough for a cashier in there, so I say it must be a real floor. :-)

Cincinnati: Historic Photos
^I think we're talking about different photos here. The Scripps Center construction is in the Devou Park view that richNcincy posted.

Delaware / Ohio Wesleyan University: Developments and News
Wow, I didn't realize it's been empty for such a short time! 1998 was a few years before my time in Delaware, of course. Thanks for the info.

Warren County growth
And that is a big map!

Cincinnati: Downtown: Queen City Square
The listing on Skyscraperpage probably doesn't mean much; I think the information there is just from people like us, not from any official source. (Just pointing that out... I'm not one of the pessimists, for the record.)

Cincinnati: Google Maps Guessing Game
They put in updated, higher-resolution images of the downtowns of many cities not terribly long ago in Google Earth, but it doesn't appear that those images have made their way to Google Maps yet. I haven't noticed a change.

Cincinnati: Downtown: Convention Center / Hotel
I want to see!

Cincinnati: Waldvogel Viaduct
Hmm.... with that plan, the viaduct will still confuse the hell out of me.

Delaware / Ohio Wesleyan University: Developments and News
^ To go off on a tangent... do you know what was originally at that corner and what happened to it? That empty lot always bothered me.

Dayton: Restaurant News & Info
Good news! What area is the apartment in? You know, I'd never considered the "no stench" angle. That should be in Dayton's advertising slogan! :-D And Dayton's got an actual fall for sure, but after looking at the Baraboo Hills in Wisconsin this year, I'm starting to think fall in Dayton looks like crap by comparison. (To say nothing of New England, of course, which has got everyone beat.)

Country Road Riding
Looks like a lot of Ohio. But I suppose it is west central indeed.

Cincinnati: Historic Photos
Is that Scripps under construction at the far right? And I like the Devou view better without Paul Brown Stadium, not that the stadium is ugly.

Delaware / Ohio Wesleyan University: Developments and News
^I think it should be Union County; Marysville's courthouse is nice.

Delaware / Ohio Wesleyan University: Developments and News
I wonder where they would build it. They'd better not ruin my Delaware! :whip: The courthouse is not spectacular, but I'd hate for Summit Street to have to take a picture of some boring modern building for his official collection (as with Lebanon).

Covington, KY: The Ascent at Roebling's Bridge
Those smiling sun plates are hilarious! I always get a kick out of them. Although maybe I'd be less receptive if I had to put them on my car...

Covington, KY: The Ascent at Roebling's Bridge
Like many proper Ohioans I'd have an irrational bias against living in Kentucky, but it'd be hard not to be tempted by the superior views offered from that side of the river. If everything else were equal, I'd rather have an excellent view and be a very short walk away from downtown than in downtown with a crappy view. One other point: I don't think Covington and Newport are much less "urban" than most Cincinnati neighborhoods in a lot of respects.

Cincinnati: John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge
I like the current color, too, although I wouldn't mind that greenish color they were talking about, either. I think a light color would be better than a dark blue.

Fairfield County: Developments and News
PigBoy replied to buildingcincinnati's post in a topic in Central & Southeast Ohio Projects & ConstructionYeah, 500K sounds like crazy talk. Even Delaware County wouldn't get that many.

Covington, KY: The Ascent at Roebling's Bridge
Wait, so is there a crane set up there now?
-
Cincinnati: Downtown: The Banks
I like that little harbor thing between the suspension bridge and Race Street in the first one. (Just as idea because it's different; it's not that I'd necessarily like it if it were really there.)

Cincinnati: John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge
But the stones are the same, right?

Dayton: 2005 Mayoral Race
DDN endorses McLin. McLin is ready for 2nd term By the Dayton Daily News It's easy to underestimate Rhine McLin. As politicians go, she's almost shy. She doesn't relish the spotlight. She isn't an orator. For more info, click link www.daytondailynews.com
