We finally won an opening game to a series today against St. Louis. Arroyo got his first win of the season also. We've won 3 straight so hopefully the streak continues!

I have to admit that I had my doubts about Patterson at first, but now I'm thankful Dusty brought him to us. He turned out to be a valuable asset. So far, Bako hasn't turned out to be too bad either.

Volquez didn't have a bad game today either. 5.1 IP with 8 SO, 2 BB, 5 H and only one run. Griffey hit his first homer of the season to bring his HR count to 594. Hopefully i'll get to see Dunn hit his first homer of the season tomorrow when i go to the game. :)

Man did anybody catch the game tonight? Edwin busted a 3 run walk off homer after being booed throughout most of the game for playing poorly. Phillips and Patterson also hit homers. Im going to watch Cueto pitch tomorrow if the game doesn't get rained out!

You would think he learned his lesson the first time around. Apparently his side of the story is completely different though. It will be interesting to see how this one turns out. With this happening and Johnson bitching about wanting out it wouldn't surprise me if they picked a WR or two in the draft, especially with all the compensatory picks we just got.
