The BEER Thread
I've always wanted to see what it would be like to brew my own beer. New job and everything else has made it hard for me to find the time to research more into it. I know its not the same, or legal, but a guy I work with hooks me up with some pretty good moonshine. He gave me peach and mountain berry to try out this weekend. Sounds odd, but he even has a batch flavored like apple pie.

Pair of veterans added to camp Reds sign Patterson, Hairston to Minor League deals By Mark Sheldon / MLB.com SARASOTA, Fla. -- The battle to be the Reds' starting center fielder took another interesting turn at Spring Training on Monday. Veteran Corey Patterson was signed to a Minor League contract and invited to camp as a non-roster player. Another vet, infielder Jerry Hairston Jr., was also signed to a Minor League deal and will be in big league camp. "We're looking at two talented guys that come in and potentially make our team and make us better," Reds general manager Wayne Krivsky said on Monday night. "We'll get them here and see what kind of shape they're in." Patterson played for the Cubs from 2000-05, including two years under Baker. He spent the last two seasons with the Orioles. Cincinnati Bengals Discussion
I believe the draft will be the biggest factor in deciding whether or not to switch to a 3-4. According to the people on the bengals.com forum, Pollack has been cleared by his doctor to come back but needs some time to announce a definite answer. If he returns and OD comes back, then that will bring major help IMO. OD might be a little rusty from not playing for 2 years, but Pollack is in the best shape of his life despite the injury he had.

Cincinnati Cyclones Discussion
Hardly anyone in my area has even heard of the Cyclones. If they continue to be a dominant team in the ECHL, i'm sure they will become more well known. They are Cincinnati's little ray of light in sports right now lol.

Cincinnati Bengals Discussion
I have to agree. According to their website, the Bengals are also interested in Jets' tackle Dewayne Robertson, Colts' TE Ben Utecht, and FS Marlon McCree. I think Mike Brown is gonna screw us again.

Cincinnati Bengals Discussion
I originally posted this, but apparently ESPN has voided the trade due to "language issues" and the Bengals are now exploring more options. I got excited over nothing :whip: Big Deal for Big Man By GEOFF HOBSON February 29, 2008 An NFL source confirmed Friday the Bengals have swung one of their biggest deals in history by acquiring Lions defensive tackle Shaun Rogers for a third- and a fifth-round pick in the upcoming draft. As of late Friday afternoon, the Bengals had not confirmed the deal. The 6-4 Rogers, listed at 340 pounds, turns 29 in two weeks and has three years left on his contract but the Bengals are aparently open to renegotiating it. A two-time Pro Bowler who led all NFL tackles in sacks this past season with a career-high seven, Rogers has been the subject of heated trade rumors ever since he left the locker room last season saying he wanted a change of scenery from a Detroit club that is 50 games under .500 since it took him in the second round of the 2001 draft. Where do you usually hang out in your city?
My buddy and I were in Cincy tonight for the Cyclones game. I noticed a few people mentioned Rock Bottom so we decided to go there and try some of the beer. Turned out to be pretty awesome. Then we watched the broom ball championship outside and laughed at the announcers damn near the whole time.
