Cincinnati Reds Discussion
Pitt is beating St Louis right now 4-1. Its only in the 5th inning so things could obviously change. The Reds are definitely showing some promise right now. I'd like to see Owings join the shutout club tonight. Votto is leading the NL in batting average and Bruce is 3rd in homers behind Dunn and Pujols.

It's Amazing How History Repeats Itself...
There's no way i'd take part in something like that. In situations like that I believe police have every right to do whatever it takes to solve the problem, especially when things are being thrown and profane things are being yelled. Hopefully some of those kids learn to mature and grow up a little. Causing a riot and burning things in the middle of the street is going to get you nowhere.

Cincinnati Reds Discussion
Now that Phillips and Bruce is starting to hit I think the Reds will be just fine without a power hitter. They have been scoring runs when they need to and Dusty's makeshift lineup has surprised me. Hopefully Votto comes back as hot as he was before he got sick. If they continue to play the way they have been against St Louis then playoffs here we come.

Where in the world is... Sherman Cahal?
I'm guessing you're not that lucky with the ladies. I see a lot of cold showers in your future!! :-D lol Sounds like something my friends and I would say. We laugh when everyone around looks at us as if we are idiots.

Columbus: Downtown: RiverSouth Developments and News
Columbus definitely needs to find a way to get more people downtown so hopefully this project helps. I was there all of last week and couldn't believe how dead downtown was. Short North was a different story though. Is it always like that?

Cincinnati Bengals Discussion
Its about time the Bengals start being aggressive in the FA. We definitely have the potential if the team can stay injury free. The D sounds like it's going to make some noise.

Man that was an awesome game tonight. They lit up Lohse.

Cincinnati Reds Discussion
They played an awesome game tonight. Our BP allowed 3 runs but our bats were lighting the Cards up all night. I was glad to see Nix getting the start over Dickerson and i hope it will be like that as long as he keeps producing. With Harang and Volquez pitching the next couple games its definitely possible to sweep the series if our bats continue to work. That would sure shake up the NL Central.

If I were looking at the pictures and didn't know otherwise, i'd say you were in Adams County. SE Ohio is beautiful especially in the fall.

Cincinnati Bengals Discussion
According to ESPN, the Bengals finally got it right in the draft and will be much better next year lol. Our defense should be awesome though.

Cincinnati Reds Discussion
I attended both games against Atlanta and it was frustrating to see us constantly leaving players on 2nd and 3rd. Our batting rotation is all out of whack. Bruce is slowly coming around and Brandon Phillips can hardly hit anything. It was fun watching the benches clear last night and seeing Dusty and Hairston get thrown out today though. They have been tearing up the division so far so that's a plus. Hopefully they can start playing like they did on this past road trip. I'm all for bringing Rosales up from Louisville I just think their biggest problem is deciding who to send down.

Cincinnati Cyclones Discussion
I hope Florida gets taken out so the Cyclones won't have to play them. They are just as good as Cincy was last year. Now I have to make up my mind on which game i'm going to watch tomorrow night, the Cyclones or Reds.

Cincinnati: Texting While Driving Ban
Most 16 year old chicks are a danger on the road anyway. I can see the argument from both sides but like edale said there's no way it could possibly be enforced. When I text my phone is usually closer to my lap and can't be seen from the window.

Cincinnati: Texting While Driving Ban
I agree. I'm constantly texting while driving and I havent had an accident yet. I've gotten to the point where I can text without even looking at my phone so I can concentrate on driving.

Cincinnati Reds Discussion
Yeah i know it about killed me watching Burton give up those runs. If we can get Hernandez and Gonzo to start hitting I can see the Reds going somewhere.

Cincinnati Reds Discussion
Well the redlegs have gotten off to a good start on their long road trip. Edwin helped us beat the Brewers last night by hitting a grand slam and it looks as if we will win again tonight. It helps that Milwaukee's pitching sucks. Our bullpen has been doing extremely well and the starting pitching is starting to come around slowly.

New York International Auto Show 2009 *Lots of photos*
The Shelby Challenger was quite interesting. I'm strictly a Mustang guy but the new style just doesn't compete stock for stock against the Challenger and Camaro. I thought Honda discontinued the S2000?

Are you a textaholic?
I would much rather text than call someone. Usually I just need to ask someone a short question so its much more convenient than to call and carry on a conversation. My social life and people skills have taken a beating but i'll live.

My house is roughly the size of those. I live alone so space isn't an issue in my situation.

I'm surprised they optioned Gomes to Louisville. McDonald is pretty much unproven in the majors and he won the spot.

Cincinnati Reds Discussion
Man I hope this doesn't happen. If they were that worried about having a bat they should've kept Keppinger.

Ohio High School Basketball: General News & Discussion
Wow I didn't know Oak Hill was that good. They were the ones who took my former high school out of the tourneys.
