I can't stand it when i'm at the theater trying to enjoy a movie and the next thing i know i'm surrounded by people chomping popcorn with their mouths open. It completely drowns out the movie no matter how loud it is. I just wanna grab the bag out of their hands and throw it in their faces.

Its going to take the Bengals several years to be competitive again. They have several younger players that are going to make an impact but its not going to be enough unless they start rebuilding. They just released Jeremi Johnson and Reagan Maui'a so now they have even more holes to fill.

Well Affeldt's gone to the Giants and Weathers probably won't be back. Both players said that Jocketty had made little attempt in negotiating for them to come back. He's probably leaning toward our young players for the bullpen which probably isn't a bad thing. Hopefully they can bring back Lincoln and Hairston though.

I dont think the upper draft class this year is very strong and the top players will probably be ones that the bengals dont even need. I'd say they will get within the top 5 but like unusualfire said they could trade down depending on who's available. Anthony Collins is going to be starting Thursday for the Steelers game so i'm pretty excited to see how he will do. They were impressed with him during the preseason so hopefully he can make a difference on our poor OL.

I agree! I bought my house on the east end for a little over 14K. Its a small 2 bedroom but has plenty of room for me since I live alone. There are several historic buildings for sale downtown at reasonable prices also. Most have pretty nice apartments/lofts above them but the biggest problem would be finding tenants to fill the retail space. The partially remodeled house on the left below sold just a few months ago for 7K. Also this building was recently occupied by some kind of software firm but the owner wanted something different so now it will be sold or auctioned off. I read in the Ledger a while back that someone out of Louisville, I believe, was interested and was waiting to get an estimate back to see how much it would cost to be renovated. [ Next time anybody comes to Maysville let me know and we'll go bar hoppin!

I love the Carews observation deck! I wish they wouldn't have built the cluster of highways around downtown though, as seen in the last picture.

I havent been to Detroit since I was like 9, but the one odd thing that I always remember is the steam coming from the man hole covers. I think GM could've done alot more with their headquarters than that massive cluster of buildings. Just like the Museum Plaza i'm sure some hate it and some love it though.
