I have to agree with you. These pictures make Ripley look alot better than it does in person. Maybe its because i'm so used to it or something i dont know. There are a few small developments and renovations going on in Maysville right now and if i wasn't so lazy after work i'd go snap some shots lol Unfortunately Manchester will probably always be a ghost town. Unless its Kinfolks Landing Days or Jack Roush is in town, the place is dead. Most buildings in town are vacant and if a fire or anything like that happens they just raze the building without replacing it with something. I think most people from the surrounding county go to Manchester just to buy alcohol and then leave. On a good note the town is starting to clean up a little and its reputation is slowly improving. A tax levy is about to be voted on to build a really nice rec center to take the place of the old high school after they tear it down.

I don't know what it is either. I'm assuming it has to do with the election but they may surprise everyone. I'll be going to the home opener also. Speaking of which I wonder if i should go ahead and buy tickets?

Id like to see someone photoshop one of these buildings right in the middle of downtown Cincy.

I was wondering about this the other day. Even though the Wyldwood developers denied it, I'm sure all this had something to do with the previous gambling proposal. They were probably waiting to see how everything panned out before going any further with their plans. I know a couple of people who own property that was to be bought and they have no clue as to what is going on. One guy told me that they gave him something like a down payment...I guess as good faith that they would actually buy the property. I'm sure McRoberts received some money as well, probably a nice amount considering the building was an important asset to their plan.

The Cyclones lost their first game of the season to Wheeling 7-5. I've gotta go to the "bye bye Bush" promotion on November 4th. I'm sure it will be interesting.

I'm gonna do my best to make it on the 25th. I cant wait to see them raise the championship banners!

I've made that same trek from Columbus to Philly to Jersey and vice versa many times! Philly was an awesome city but the one thing I'll never miss about it is the obnoxious Eagles fans lol. I never got to explore as much as I wanted but I did get to see the major attractions such as the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, etc.

Awesome pics! FWW looks like its choking downtown or something. Hopefully they'll build those caps that i read about on here and make it a little more pleasing to the eye.

I spent the summer of 05 there in basic training. The heat kinda sucked and i didnt get to go downtown as much as I wanted but I still loved it. The only thing I didn't like about it was the military was pretty much everywhere. Every time I'd turn around i'd see someone walking around with their uniform on. That may not bother anyone else too much but when you're in the military its nice to get away from it every now and then. I almost took a civilian job down there a couple weeks ago but decided to stay around here. I definitely recommend a strip club called XTC...it was pretty awesome! :-D

Is it just me or does it seem like Alonso is going to be trouble later down the road? He demanded a major league contract and he strikes me as the type who always wants things to go his way. I'll admit that i havent really researched him that much so hopefully i'm wrong. I definitely agree with moving Homer to the BP. They should at least give it a shot and see how it works out.

I was surprised at how well they played today. I figured they would've lost the game by a complete blowout. I just hope they finish at least 8-8 this year.

It sucks the Browns lost. I'm not a fan but I was rootin for them. I just really hate the steelers lol

I took this earlier today. It was a bay on the north shore of Hawaii but I had gone to so many places i cant remember which one it was exactly.

I watched the fireworks from the far end of the walkway you are standing on. I'm short so I stood on top the flower garden thing at the bottom of the pic so i could see over everyones head. It was the best view that I've ever had of the fireworks.

If airforce_jm is thinking of the tower only, it will only footprint about 1/3 of the lot. Yeah i was talking about the tower only. Sorry, i should've been more specific but thanks for postin the pic. Any word on what the retail space is going to be?
