I don't know about that pitbull article. The only fault of the owners is that they never made sure the dog was actually dead, and they placed it in a dumpster. I think they had the right to kill the dog as it was attacking their own pet, and what else can you do? Pull it off with your bare hands? They should have completely put the enraged animal down and called the police/animal control... whatever. EDIT, this refers to the first pitbull article, not MTS's post

I always hated saturn when building models of the solar system for school. I wanted the rings to float, but how the hell do you do that? It has to appear to be held up by nothing. String was useless because it won't attach properly to the Styrofoam balls. And using wire? that just looks bad.

  18. Sheeeeeeeeeyit! Imagine that thing coming down (imagines it in slow-mo)
  19. Many why the hell can't they save the whole school. I've been working 2 years at a firm that specializes in this stuff. We've dealt with poor cash strapped communities who have managed to pull off amazing renovations of historic structures.
  20. My neighborhood in Ann Arbor has all brick streets. I have mixed feelings. I really really love the look, but they are incredibly dangerous in the winter, especially when the streets have a steep grade. They don't always offer a whole lot of traction when it gets icy. Not sure why. But I'd rather have that over asphalt.

^ While the top video had some good stunts, the camera-work was awesome. Really well put together. The second video.... wow....... .... that had to be painful

Nice site with a lot of good resources. Although there's a lot of significant cities (and their websites missing) when I went around state to state.
