Cleveland: Population Trends
People say that, but I don't buy it. If gas ever hit $4 a gallon (which is what some studies say is the level it would need to reach to inspire any noticeable change in consumption), I think we'd finally be motivated to find alternative fuels that would allow us to continue our car-dependent lifestyle. That process is already underway as gas prices inch up, actually. It would be interesting to see the impact on economy, between the time gas hits 4 bucks a gallon and alternative fuels actually become mainstream within the context of the direction our health care system.

Cleveland Public Schools: News and Discussion
I hear you. The keywords are "propensity to study". The horse just does not wish to drink the water from that particular pond at that point of time. Providing strawberry flavored water in a shiny bucket while massaging the horse in a spa setting ain't gonna make any difference. That's all.

Cleveland: City Council seeks trans fat ban
What about Miss USA making out with Miss Universe? Would that be kosher? The fact is that the most important attribute that these chicks have is their hottability and its outrageous to see the Donald stepping in and threatening Miss USA's throne, I mean crown. What up with him?

Also, check with your local or national Better Business Bureau. FREE online reports check is available using the business name or phone number or address. I think Cleveland BBB rocks  They also have a list of businesses that do not respond. Check it out even if you dont need to use it immediately.

You don't mean that you wouldn't move there because the women wants to go there, right?

Medina County
The projected population for the next couple of decades is the highest in Medina county when compared to to Cuyahoga, Lorain, Geagua, Lake. The projected population is nearly twice relative to the number two, Lorain county. Why is Medina is anticipated to grow more than these other counties? Thanks.

Greater Cleveland Zoning
You remind of John Kerry and other politicos with the flipflop between 3000 and 2700 sqft.

Greater Cleveland Zoning
Do you hate me?--my wife, son and I live in a 3000 sq ft home in Ohio City. If you had less than 3k, due to greater groundwater infiltration, you could have contributed to possibly preventing the flooding problems in southern Cuyahoga this year.

I see that folks are expressing "shock and awe".

Greater Cleveland Zoning
What irks me is that some families of 2 adults, 2 children buy 3000-4000 square feet of living space and make realtors, bankers, builders, utility companies, building material companies, governmental organizations richer.

Greater Cleveland Zoning
I think Ken's on the money here. If you'd like to research the issue for yourself, we've collected links to the zoning codes of Cuyahoga County communities. Thanks for the very helpful link. Mixed developments and affordable housing requirements are techniques being used to make communities more heterogeneous. Opponents will argue that this can have a negative impact on property values.

Greater Cleveland Zoning
Are there communities in southern or western Cuyahoga county that have these measures in place?

Greater Cleveland Zoning
Orange Village promotes large lot sizes by zoning single family homes on 1.5 acres. Are there any other greater Cleveland areas that have similar zoning measures in place? Thanks

Moving Companies
I know from experience that self moving is a painful process for oneself and if helpful friends are involved, for them too. I think national moving comapnies subcontract the actual work to local moving agents. So a good local moving agent significantly impacts the quality of service received. I suspect that some national moving companies may sweet talk the customer into signing the contract and then once the deal is done, the level of service drops. Delivery delays, rude moving personnel are common, I suspect. Relocating industry is huge. There is no website I know that provides rating information about moving companies. This could be a good part time business idea for those with website building skills. Some helpful info is here: http://www.moving-company-guide.com/index.htm Personally, I had a bad experience with an Allied Van agent. I would not recommend Allied Vans to anyone. Thanks for the comments so far.

I guess folks believed in Enron until Enron happened. I just don't find nothing hard to believe anymore. Companies and people sell their souls for money.

This is troubling since other businesses do provide copies of legal agreements for review in advance without any hesitation. http://www.forestcity.net in Cleveland is reluctant.
