  1. Been curious about 5/3 as well. Haven't been able to find mind info. It'd be great if they added some element of a LED Backlight to the signage.
  2. One of my buddies has purchased on of these units. He's moving here from Centerville (from Dayton). He's a finacial planner and will continue to work/commute to Centerville. He fell in love with Oakely after I had my wedding at St. Cecilia/20th Century. He definitely isn't living off of his parents money - he's a REALLY hard working dude that happened to make some good decisions with some good connections and now has earned at an early age to buy one of these. I think it's phenominal that he loves Cincy that much that he's willing to commute.
  3. I noticed today that the parking lot is now closed and they have removed at least one billboard with a crane and another they're working on. No is currently parking on the last as of Monday of this week (less a few rebels). It looks like it could move quickly!
  4. Does anyone have any old photos or info about 1100 Sycamore downtown? Our office is located there and just curious of the background.
  5. Honestly the article isn't clear. I was still Left wondering the same thing.
  6. Is it safe to assume they'll be two tower cranes at this site once construction begins?
  7. We're in the building as well and on the 3rd floor for now, but will be moving up to the 7th soon. Our company (Astronomer.io) is sharing space with other startups including Losant and Exact Media. The owners are making some pretty cool improvements on the inside, albeit slowly. It's a great place for startups!
  8. http://www.bizjournals.com/cincinnati/news/2016/10/10/national-fast-food-chains-are-coming-back-to.html I know many of you have mixed emotions on non-local, fast food. But I actually think this is a great addition to the Downtown Cincy Scene. Taco Bell Cantina is coming to the @580 building. This will be unique in itself for a while and offer some late night food options. Also, I saw that t-Mobile is opening a store on Fountain square as well on 6th street.
  9. My ONLY issue with this is the off-white used with the white. That looks half-a*sed. Does anyone know if that will go away?
  10. Fast-growing Greater Cincinnati firm CTI to move HQ to Covington http://www.bizjournals.com/cincinnati/news/2016/08/17/fast-growing-greater-cincinnati-firm-to-move-hq.html
  11. Let's add Coca Cola to the list of companies moving downtown. :-) It looks like about 60 people or so. "Coca-Cola Co., the world’s largest beverage company, is moving at least some of its local operations to downtown Cincinnati from Blue Ash. Coca-Cola (NYSE: KO) signed a long-term lease for nearly 14,000 square feet of space in the Center of 600 Vine. The company will occupy a large portion of the third floor in the downtown office tower. The space has been vacant for several years." http://www.bizjournals.com/cincinnati/news/2016/08/16/exclusive-coca-cola-moving-local-operations-to.html?ana=fbk
  12. I would agree with Bengal. I think Columbus' downtown never feels like it has a lot of synergy. There are literally parking lots everywhere and doesn't seem to have the big city feel to it. I've always thought it's almost felt suburban at times compared to Cincy. When I'm in downtown Cincy, it feels like it is a much larger, populated city to me. But that's just my perception and I may be a bit biased... I like both cities for their own unique qualities.
  13. My personal favorite is the "Skyline Streetcar." We'd call it "The Sky-line" for short. "Hey, let's take the Sky-line up to Rhinegeist for a few beers!"
  14. The Skyline Streetcar has a nice ring to it...
