I think it is a minimum of 20 billion committed and up to 100 billion eventually-not counting the billions in spin off development, jobs, ancillary industry growth, etc. etc. but yes it is so big the wealth will have to be spread around the state and Cleveland and NEO should be doing whatever it can starting yesterday to make sure it gets as much of that as it can instead of letting it go to some backwater like Indiana or Western Pa, the state up north, etc. Why should any other state benefit-Ohio should try to get it all! What other states look out for us?

Reminds me of the "Joel Rifkin" guy in Seinfeld when he was with Elaine at the ballpark and they kept paging him lol. Anyway I am so happy about all of the money, jobs, development, downtown housing, highrises, etc. etc. etc. that will be raining down on Central Ohio and the Columbus area that I can hardly stand it. 🌞 Not to mention the other areas of Ohio that can also benefit too! I was watching the games yesterday with my father and even at 93 and a Republican(except for Trump-he hates him)thinks the 2 billion in investment(with conditions) is a good idea considering everything that we will be getting from it.

Very walkable to Main street too maybe for lunch and all...only about two blocks and keeps employees in the downtown area.

And these were the two teams I have been rooting for(since Cleveland was out) and now they are both in. I will be happy for either, and for both for getting there. These last 6 games have been insanely good and entertaining! What a playoffs the last two weeks!!! Odell picked well also.

To keep this on topic...so when I am traveling to the Intel construction site to gawk I will go past this road at 70-where exactly is the location?-is it by the interchange or further up Hilliard-Rome Rd? Just being picky/petty here but they did have a damaging tornado in the 30's, a damaging tornado in 1989, a deadly and damaging tornado about 20 years ago, and one of the worst flash flood disasters in Ohio history in 1886(?)ish that killed over 25 people. Not exactly just one incident-that place is cursed! ;)

The current tenth tallest is 408 feet. How tall is this supposed to get again? We have five over 500 feet and another five over 400 feet.

Make sure it has a booster too...or hell just give it a third full dose of vaccine-I got one, so can it! :) It is a 30 story tower proposal for Cbus so of course it's health has been on shaky ground right from it's announcement. Give it plenty of rest, warm nourishing fluids, and any and all treatments available as it will need them. With some luck and this new Intel announcement it might be actually sitting up in bed awake and alert before too long.

I gotta think that the Intel announcement, and more importantly, the incipient boom that it suggests will cause a push for more downtown, and I think the Harmony Tower site, or even better, the open parking lot between the Convention Center Garage and the buildings lining High along the overpass would be great places for something. I want something on that parking lot along Goodale so badly I can hardly stand it-Convention Center, Short North, Arena District, North Market Area, etc. all right there and with an 800 place plus parking garage already right next door just seemingly waiting expectantly for a tower of some kind.

I think it would take an act of God to dig that thing up from the grave and breathe life into it, but you never do know lol. By comparison Harmony Tower is just in the ICU at this point.

I really hope the New Albany Intel news(and the impression of an impending boom in Central Ohio)will have a positive ripple effect on projects like this and give them the boost they need.

I for one would love to see any and all info including any possible site plans like these-even if it is just speculatory in nature.

Huh...they said $135,000 on the news this morning. But yes, around that amount goes much much farther here than there-and what they can get in regard to housing alone! Damn. Plus why would they not flock to Central Ohio when we are so close to all of the amenities of Cleveland? ❄️ 😛

Good riddance to Sullivant Gardens-it was a cesspool and a nightmare of crime back in the 80's early 90's.

This facility coming to Central Ohio is just so huge it is hard to comprehend it and all of the ramifications that will come from it. Just huge news for us(and the rest of Ohio too-this is not one part of the state "stealing" from another).

The windows seem a bit small and it needs a bit of work, but it is way better than what is there right now, and yeah, I kind of like the blue.
