Ohio Census / Population Trends & Lists
So we know that the "extra" 200,000 or so people are not in the top ten cities in Ohio(Cbus added about what was predicted). Where are they? That is the question. I also think I saw that the Cleveland metro did not lose population, but gained. Is this correct?

Columbus: Population Trends
I am just glad I can now get over the shock of the erroneous 880,000 figure. This is not so bad given the estimate for 2019 was 898,000. A little below what I expected. So where are the extra 200,000 people in Ohio? We know they are not in Cbus proper...?

Ohio Census / Population Trends & Lists
never mind..already answered. * I am just glad we skipped the entire 800,000 bracket going from 787,000 to 905,000. Quite a feat. 120,000 people added in ten years with hardly any annexation is a big thing. This must be a record# added in ten years for Cbus.

Well where..is this data released today?

Columbus: Population Trends
Despite the large size of the city/county, the local geography and sprawl trajectories do not favor them. As I am sure you know, given the comment and all. But yeah just agreeing basically. And if you don't like it, you will also deserve an assbeating! lol. j/k

Ohio Census / Population Trends & Lists
Check some of the other top ten cities please. Thanks. We will find out. If that is the case, how many were already in Cbus outside the county?

Ohio Census / Population Trends & Lists
Check that and cross the some of the top ten cities listed today with what is listed there-if they coincide(NYC, etc)then we know it is correct. If not, then we know it may be different. *my comment about your possible impending assbeating was a joke, as I think most would realize. Just clarifying lol.

Ohio Census / Population Trends & Lists
It does not coincide with the graphic showing that we were one of those cities. There just has to be some wtf stuff going on. smh. Well what can we expect-this is the government presenting this crap. I had a bad feeling... So where tf are all these extra people in Ohio? *Congrats to Cincinnati

Columbus: Population Trends
So EVERYONE was wrong-we were way lower than anything listed. Damn.

Columbus: Population Trends
They are showing us at 880,000-see the other population thread.

Ohio Census / Population Trends & Lists
Huge disappointment for Cbus. I wonder where we rate now? Certainly out of the top 15. Did Indy pass us? SMH

Columbus: Population Trends
Apparently no we don't -as posted above that minimum number of ten percent was for the metro area population growth-the only thing listed for individual cities was the top ten. *none of these new questions being asked are going to be related to numbers for biggest cities.

Columbus: Population Trends
It really is. When can we get Cbus numbers? I just knew that damn video would start late too...lol...it is the government and all

Columbus: Population Trends
Too bad they did not list the top 20 cities and changes. Wow for NYC!

The YouTube Thread
What I meant was that initially he was seen as a hero-before any of that stuff came to light. Depending on what happens, his fall from grace may be even worse.

US Economy: News & Discussion
Is it coming down further or is this spike in overall prices pretty much here to stay? This is exactly what poorer people and people on fixed incomes do not need. And especially with housing and not enough being built(at least in the Cbus area) and particularly not enough affordable housing(in nearly all areas).

The YouTube Thread
This whole thing with Cuomo-the fall from grace has been fast! From Covid-19 hero to resignation! Damn.

Newark: Developments and News
Toddguy replied to buildingcincinnati's post in a topic in Central & Southeast Ohio Projects & ConstructionGood news for Newark. So what do you think Newark's official 2020 numbers will be when released at 1pm? I did not realize that Newark never really had a period of any significant loss-just pretty much stable or growing over time. Besides Columbus, there has never been another city breaking the 50,000 mark in the immediate Central Ohio area. Now we hopefully will have three in total.

Columbus: Population Trends
Thanks! I have not see that info on any other site(similar to this one...you know what I mean.)

Columbus: Population Trends
I wonder when the info will come out tomorrow? Hopefully also some answers to "where are all the extra people in Ohio" as well as the Cbus stats. I wish we could get some of Canada's international migration to continue on to Cbus, but really, why would they want to leave Canada for here-especially Ohio with it's gerrymandering red conservative government? I would stay my ass in Canada if I were them I must admit. Same for any Canadians really. I really wish this city would reach out to other refugee migrant groups-I wish this city could become a haven for LGBT+ refugees from nations where they not only face extreme discrimination, but actually physical harm and murder.

Columbus: Brewery District Developments and News
I don't see why they need to tear down the Italianate home at 835 S. Front. That is a very narrow lot and they should be able to incorporate or build around that house. As for the 1 floor Jones building, maybe they could keep much of the lower floor and built above that-it looks like it is on a slope-could they get some underground parking here?)or at least make the new building out of brick and make it somewhat match the historical six story building that will be saved. If they can do this for new builds like in Neighborhood Launch, why not in an already existing site like this one? I think something "modern" would overwhelm the 6 floor historic building here. JMO of course. If they go modern, it would be very difficult to get it right, again JMO.

Columbus: German Village / Schumacher Place Developments and News
Toddguy replied to buildingcincinnati's post in a topic in Central & Southeast Ohio Projects & ConstructionI have no problem with this, but is there some reason they cannot make an addition to the front of the school? Do they need it to be so far back and have that empty grassy front lot that is of no use whatsoever? They can't enclose that and make some kind of use out of it such as making part of it a recess and playground area? So many front lawns serve no purpose whatsoever-especially in that area where many homes have little if any front yard at all. Look how close the other buildings(including the church)are to the street.
