If UO had a "Like" feature - this comment would get my Like vote, I couldn't agree more.
  3. I will have to look into that. If I don't decide to get it and just edit my pic in CS4, is an 8 bit TIFF high enough quality to print 24x36?

Ellison already got my vote. Can anyone add a poll to a thread? We should add one here.
  5. So I can save in TIFF format from Nikon. The printer I use (myphotopipe) does not accept 16 bit TIFF files. I can save in 8 bit. I plan to get a 24x36 print on canvas - is 8 bit good enough quality? I am thinking about printing the following pic. I will rotate it slightly so it's straight, but what other edits would you guys make?
  6. Long term plans are for a pedestrian walkway to connect CSU's main campus to the Wolstein Center. Parking lot behind is not owned by CSU, so right now it will be turned into a public plaza/park with patios for the restaurant tenants in our building.
  7. Well, we have moved our offices to the second floor of 1938 Euclid. Here is the view from my cubicle. They have started concrete work for the plaza next door. As previously mentioned, Jimmy John's is in and Moe's construction has started. We still have 4,300 sf left for retail or office so let me know if you know anyone interested. It's going to look real nice come spring once the plaza is done.
  8. I think its going to be apartments in the first phase, not condos.
  9. All I know is Panera. It was in a press release from the broker who represented Panera in the deal (Panera will also be opening on Rockside Road for anyone interested).
  10. Not sure if this has been mentioned, but Panera will be going into the Uptown Development.

Has anyone ever bought a property at the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's sale?

Just guessing here, but didn't Russo have a deal worked out? If Dimora does not, that would probably explain it.
  14. Yeah Lola might be the best idea. Especially for bringing people from out of town who might be familiar with him.
  15. I was thinking Chop House and have been there for a bachelor party before, but that was like 5 years ago. Most people are coming here from out of town and I was trying to decide whether I should pick something more trendy??? Chop House might not be trendy, but classic is good too I guess.
  16. I don't eat downtown a lot but have a bachelor party coming up and I need to plan the dinner venue. What restaurant do you guys recommend for 10-12 guys to hit before a night out on the town? Obviously, something nice, we are not going to have dinner at Panini's.

Joe Posnanski (great sports writer originally from Cleveland and wrote in Cincinnati) says Cincinnatians don't say Cincy. I went to UC and I say Cincy, but I'm also not from Cincy. What do you Cincinnati people think? Do you say Cincy?

Here are the two pictures I entered into the Downtown Cleveland Alliance's photo contest.
  22. I did take it in RAW, I will try what your mentioned. Thanks. Although, please tell me if I do this wrong - I covert the RAW files to a high-quality jpeg using the Nikon software that came with my camera and then open and edit that file in Photoshop. Is this the correct way to do this? Photoshop does not recognize the RAW file when I try to open that directly.

For weeks now I frequently cannot get on UO. It seems to be ususally in the mornings. I know the site is not down because I will check on my phone and I can get to it. I get a message along the lines of "Internet Explorer cannot display this webpage." But then later on, I can get on the site. Anyone else have this problem? (and no, I do not want to download another browser).
  24. What do you guys think of this picture? Do you think its too dark? Should I try and "lighten up" (if thats the correct phrase) the person in the foreground?
  25. I think you can get 75% LTV, however, I have never been involved in a transaction anywhere near that size, so I can't speak as intelligently about loan requirements for a deal that big. It would certainly be easier to get a 75% LTV on a near fully occupied building than a near vacant building. Other factors include what tenants are in the building and when the leases expire. If the building is fully occupied, but all the leases expire within 2 years, there is a bit more risk involved.
