You can see the plans for the walkway here, across from the farmers market... http://www.urbanohio.com/forum2/index.php/topic,2289.msg451924.html#msg451924 In other news, work continues on the building next to this walkway, 1938 Euclid. Storefront glass went up last week. I will try to get pictures to post next time I am there.

Photography/Photoshop tips and tricks?
^Thanks. No filter on the lens although I recently got a UV filter (I'm told alot of people just leave it on their lens at all times and it protects the lens as well).

Photography/Photoshop tips and tricks?
I took that at 44 seconds f/36. I do like the starburst effect, just not always. I will definitely have to try the trick with the window screen.

Can anyone shed some light on how to minimize the "sunburst" effect of the lights. should I be using a certain filter? am I using an incorrect aperture?

Found one for $5.88 on Amazon. Thanks for the help. Now I know that when I buy neutral density filters I need 52mm.

I see. It says 52. I guess that makes sense. No big deal on the filters. I got some cheap ones off amazon for $10. Thanks for the help.

Photography/Photoshop tips and tricks?
I have a D3000 with a 55 mm stock lens. I bought some zeikos 55 mm filters but can for the life of me figure out how to get them on the lens. Do I need some sort of attachment? Am I missing something here?

Cleveland - Schweinfurth bridges
It really is too bad that the staircase is no longer in service. I wonder what it would cost to fix it. I keep forgetting to get pictures of the northernmost bridge. Maybe that will be my next field trip.

Cleveland - Schweinfurth bridges
I took some additional pics in light of the stairway discussion and the brick on the underside of the bridges.

Cleveland - Schweinfurth bridges
The staircase is still there, I think on the middle of the 3 bridges. It is closed with a fence blocking it off. It would be nice if it was able to be put back into service.

Cleveland: Suburban Crime & Safety Discussion
[*]This crime didn't happen in Cleveland [*]Cedar Avenue is not in Cleveland Heights. It's Cedar Rd. Crappy reporting Agree on Cedar Ave, but where does it say that it happened in Cleveland? Either way, it's a shame. They need to shut that place down, I think it has had plenty of troubles over the years.

Cleveland - Schweinfurth bridges
Wow - I am an idiot. Especially considering I was involved in a study a few years ago and I did some research on these bridges. You would think I would have remembered the correct name. Oh well. Mods - can you change the title of the thread? Thanks.

Northern Italy IIRC. Looks like Cinque Terre (N Italy). Do a google image search and you will see some pretty great looking towns. I am considering a trip there next year.- Cincinnati Bengals Discussion

- Cleveland urban exploration
Agreed. I also find it so interesting to see a building like this and imagine how it used to be and I like seeing what is left in the building such as the mail boxes.- Cleveland urban exploration
No way!! that building was first on my list for urban exploration once I got a camera (which I did last week).- University of Cincinnati Bearcats Football Discussion
Probably a little late, how about a fundraising drive specifically for a BK salary increase. I know I'd committ $100 a year for 5 years. If you can get 10,000 alumni to do the same, it would be $1m a year.- University of Cincinnati Bearcats Basketball Discussion
Crosstown shootout is this sunday. Winking Lizard in downtown Cleveland is hosting a watch party for UC alumni. Anyone know if it is a joint party with XU alumni assn.? I usually get together with an XU buddy of mine and I doubt he would want to go if he was the only XU fan surrounded by UC fans.- STICKY: How do I post pix?
maybe it's your browser. I'm using IE8- STICKY: How do I post pix?
So far in my limited use, I don't like Photobucket - too many ads and it freezes when I try to upload pics. Are there any other good free sites? - 10 student photos from around the world - Which one is the best?
