  1. The revolving restaurant at the Millineum closed shortly after sept 11 due to lack of business after the big recession in the travel industry. They still open it up for private parties and have been considering opening it up again as a full scale restaurant (at least that is what the manager said this past winter)
  2. I dont care how it gets done and who builds it as long as it gets done in the most efficient, cost effective way possible. I dont care if the majority of people working on the project are illegals who are earning cheap wages if it gets done in a good workmanlike way and in the quickest way possible so that it may benefit the city. People need to quit complaining and just get the thing built. I know that is a hard thing to ask
  3. well, it looks like there is already another restaurant ready to take its place according to the article.
  4. In Cincy of the fortune 500 companies. Ashland leases, Omnicare leases, Federated owns, 5/3 owns, Cinti Financial owns, Western Southern Owns, American Financial leases. I think it is about half and half. It depends on how old the building is sometimes or what the cost structure of the company is
  5. For what it is worth, it looks like Cincy is getting its Whole Foods store, even if it had to happen via merger
  6. I am glad you enjoy Cbus, for me, I find it to be rather uninspiring altogether personally.
  7. Trolling already, I see. Although your point is taken what with Cincinnati's excellent light-rail...err, subway...um, streetcar....oh wait, they're just doing a study on one and the other two are no where to be seen. Just like Columbus, except we finished our study. Take THAT Cincinnati. Gee if the only thing Columbus can do better than Cincy is finish a study, then no wonder why it is a shi!!y town. We may not be perfect in Cincy but at least we have other valuable assets to be proud of besides the fact that we were able to complete a study.
  8. Well, unfortunately Cbus is filled with sprawl and suburban apartment complexes. Face it, besides OSU, Cbus sucks the big one. Well, at least for those of us who dont drive pickup trucks everywhere we go.
  9. Lets look on the bright side. Even though we lost, Michigan still Sucks
  10. it took 10 months and a lot of displaced workers and in the end, as usual, the union will finally cave to the company's demands. This could have been accomplished 10 months ago without the heartache by the workers and families in the community. Unions are nothing but a bunch of dinosaurs. What a waste of space.
  11. Because Columbus is a crappy town.
