Although I did not think this was significant enough to be in the "Demolition" thread, the house that caught fire on E.120 was demolished today: The houses on both sides have been restored from their fire damage. No word on if there will be any infill, garden, parking lot...etc

WHOA...I had no idea so much rehab and partnership. And, this quote is my favorite: "The adjacent non-historical building located at 1101 Euclid Ave is proposed to be included in the redevelopment plan so that no vacant buildings will remain on the north side of Euclid Ave from Public Square to Playhouse Square (at East 17th Street) once this project is complete.”

The station has four users. A partnership of the European Space Agency, Japan, Russia, Canada, Brazil and others, controlled by an international board, uses about a quarter of the station’s resources and astronaut time. The rest is divided between NASA, the U.S. Department of Defense and a NASA-administered national laboratory open to private companies, universities and individual scientists. DiBello has submitted a still-sealed bid to run the national laboratory. Cleveland-based Space Laboratory Associates, a partnership of Battelle Memorial Institute of Ohio and a consortium of research universities, has also bid, and there are reports that at least two other universities have as well. I rode the Healthline today, and I gotta say today was the most packed I've ever seen it. It was 1:30 in the afternoon and every possible place to stand was taken. I'm wondering if they'll consider having higher frequency of vehicles as University Circle, Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland State, and Midtown continue to expand.

I keep hearing rumors about a coffee house and a French restaurant going into the Midtown. Can anyone confirm any details? I've heard around the E.66th area.

The Bouchercon World Mystery Conference, the oldest and largest destination of mystery fans, will come to Ohio for the first time since its inception in 1970. Organizers expect it to attract more than 500 mystery writers and at least 1,000 fans to the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel, Oct. 4-7, 2012. "It's going to be just amazing," said Marjory Mogg, chair of the Cleveland conference and a Euclid librarian.
