Cleveland Cavaliers' Shaquille O'Neal to host WWE's Monday Night Raw Wednesday, July 22, 2009 From staff reports The Summer of Shaq continues to get bigger and better. First, on June 25, Shaquille O'Neal became a Cavalier when Cleveland traded Ben Wallace and Sasha Pavlovic to the Phoenix Suns. Last week, O'Neal made a trip to China that included a tour of earthquake-devastated areas. Today, he'll start filming his reality show, "Shaq Vs.", in Pittsburgh. More from Cleveland.com: http://www.cleveland.com/taste/index.ssf/2009/07/guy_fieri_raves_about_clevelan.html ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.star-ecentral.com/tvnradio/tracks/tracks.asp?file=archives/tracks/2009/7/22Shaqgivesr&date=7/22/2009&title=Shaq%20gives%20reality%20another%20shot Shaq gives reality another shot Superstar basketball player Shaquille O'Neal is giving reality TV a second shot with Shaq Vs. from ABC this August. Shaq will go up against top-calibre athletes in their chosen sport in a series of competitions, e.g. Michael Phelps in swimming and Super Bowl-winning NFL quarterback Ben Roethlisberger in (American) football. ABC has picked up five episodes of the one-hour show, according to Variety, with talks going on with cycling star Lance Armstrong to appear as the "Vs." for the sixth episode. Tennis champ Serena Williams and boxer Oscar de la Hoya may be among Shaq's other "opponents" on the show. Shaq previously gave reality TV a shot with Shaq's Big Challenge in 2007, where he coached overweight children to adopt a healthy lifestyle. In Shaq Vs., he will be shown training for each challenge and also negotiating a handicap with his rival of the week.

Cleveland: Restaurant News & Info
haha, well it really doesn't look like one with what's left. the "parking lot" across from Mama Santa's on E.123rd and Mayfield. It's the building on that property. Have you heard anything about the space where Corbo's Bakery used to be? No word yet. I know the owners started charging too high of rent after someone passed away in their family, which is why Corbo's had to move--into a building they owned next door. I can't remember who owns that building on the corner, but it is for sure not the Corbos. Also, Terry Tarantino is still seriously considering the Mayfield theater. Like I said before, I'll have more info when I get back into town. Lastly, Strong rumor another pizza place will open in the next year. More details in a few weeks.
