^ Really fantastic article on many levels. Good thing they were able to go against our city's zoning mandates - especially in a place like Hough that lost most of its urbanity. Cleveland is helping the project in several ways. It has given zoning variances for smaller setbacks and fewer parking spaces than normally required, since Addis View is within walking distance of many workplaces and of the HealthLine.

Little Italy has been creating its own micro apartments this whole time!! 🙂 I think you're spot on with the large family sizes back in the day compared to 1-2 college students per room. .

Annual Slovenian-American festival in the St. Clair-Superior neighborhood, first begun here in Cleveland in 2013. I believe we are the only US city to have this ancient Slovenian celebration of scaring away winter and welcoming springtime. I recently published a wiki page on it. This is pleasant news. The garage could also eventually house a large video board that would be visible around Public Square and from his restaurant’s rooftop deck.
