Skylines Combined--Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati =)
Thomasbw, actually I did cheat a little ...I did skrink Cleveland down by what I thought was about 20-30 m so it wouldn't dwarf the other skylines, but after looking at the math, I skrunk it more like 80-90 m. I have a new rendition, but it shows Cleveland dwarfing everything, so I'm a little hesitant to post it. Aesthetically, I still prefer my first attempt. Cincinnati: 01. Carew Tower 175 m 02. PNC Tower 151 m 03. Scripps Center 143 m Columbus: 01. Rhodes State Office Tower 192 m 02. LeVeque Tower 169 m 03. William Green Building 162 m Cleveland: 01. Key Tower 289 m 02. Terminal Tower 216 m 03. 200 Public Square 201 m

To the best of my ability. Why? What looks out of place?

Skylines Combined--Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati =)
Oh, and to all the Clevelanders, I apologize for not keeping the "key" on Key Tower ("the eye of Sauron" - MayDay) and not having all that scaffling on Terminal Tower.

Skylines Combined--Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati =)
My dad once told me that if you were to put downtown Cleveland in New York City, no one would notice. So with the similar thinking of moving skylines, I got to wondering what all three major Ohio skylines would look like together. After a little time messing around with various images, a skyline began to form. (I used techically 4 waterfront views all coming from Lake Erie, Scioto River?, and the Ohio River to blend as the common theme). And with the help of powerpoint, paint, and an early version of photoshop, my image finally came together. I give you: Ohio City!! (oh wait, that name is taken...) Tri -C!! (damn, that's taken too. Thanks again Cleveland...) Well, the name will come. Behold!

Cleveland: Little Italy Neighborhood Discussion
Correct, Corbo's are moving to the old art studio next to the theater. The building they are currently in they do not own, and that's about all I can say. If anyone has noticed, they've opened up two more stores in the suburbs (not that we're very pro suburbs on here..). They also own the theater, the vacant club, and basically most of that block across from guarino's.

Cleveland Cavs Discussion
LeBron Carries Cavaliers Past Pistons in OT Cleveland 101, Detroit 97 (OT) AUBURN HILLS, Mich., March 7 -- LeBron James scored a season-high 41 points, leading the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 101-97 overtime victory over the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night. James almost won the game in regulation with a 27-footer, but a video review negated the dramatic shot. More at www.cleveland.com

Cleveland Browns Discussion
I think it would very be interesting if they drafted Peterson now after signing Lewis...but I see what you're saying about the "more likely" to draft Peterson than keep Droughns. Personally, I always like the saying of "draft the best available player, not what you need." With that, I'd like to see the Browns snag WR Calvin Johnson or OT Joe Thomas if they don't go one and two. (of course, God knows we need line!)

Cleveland Browns Discussion
Don't forget about the newly popular two running back system. Both the Colts and the Bears utilized this very heavily, and look where it got them. Not to mention, the NFL is a very copycat league, so I wouldn't be surprised if this is what the Browns were looking at doing this too.

^^^The sign-in page asks you to give some information about yourself, including age. The lowest option for age is 22-25. They must not want the youth of the city (age 21) and potential downtown home buyer to attend this event…sigh… And, I had to frikin lie about my age and occupation to go see Antonin Scalia two months ago at the Intercontinental…(nothing too bad, just said I was 22 and a law student at Case…not too off since I’m biochemistry.) shit, I'll still go as long as I'm not keeping others from attending.

Cleveland: Restaurant News & Info
I’ve never seen this place mentioned on here before, but Algebra Tea House in University Circle is one of my favorite places. It has a very unique, intellectual and cultural atmosphere, and serves worldwide teas and drinks and some Mediterranean foods. (I even overheard that it was rated #1 tea house in Cleveland for 2006.) I’m a little biased, but--four stars! Location: http://www.pluggedincleveland.com/restaurants/38+algebra+tea+house.html If you go to Case, CIM, or CIA, you must check this place out at least once before you graduate.

Great article KJP! I hope this quiet phase of the Warehouse district ends soon, and I wonder if there will be construction for both projects going on at the same time.

What is the future of Urban Ohio?
About the Trader Joe's ....if you go to the "contact us" portion of their website, there is a Location Request option…maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea make some strong requests for a Stonebridge, or even an East 4th. I'm actually going to toss in my request for downtown Cleveland. As for this topic's relevance...UO could actually be used to benefit Cleveland when dealing with situations like this. For example, we could decide on a particular company or storefront we would like to see downtown, and express our individual interests (power in number!) for their presence. There may be companies who have never thought of taking a look at Cleveland, and by noticing a common and specific location's interest, may actually have some effect in adding Cleveland to their radar screen for possible future expansion. Just an idea… MayDay, you’ve got skill with that Photoshop, but I think I’ve already told you that enough.
