I was at Troubadour Coffee Roasters today on Lorain Rd in Fairview Park and it mentioned they’re opening a second location in Cleveland city on Clifton Blvd. I didn’t catch the exact location, but it sounded like a block or so east of Lucky’s. I asked when they were opening, they said February... as long as the city of Cleveland paperwork/permits and the many, many steps don't get delayed much anymore. Going to be a cool edition to the neighborhood -- the spot in Fairview Park offers some bottled craft beer along with exotic coffees.

The commission on Friday approved schematic design plans for a mixed-use building that developer NRP Group, in partnership with MetroHealth, plans to build at 3400 West 25th St., across from the health system’s main campus on the near West Side. The $600,305 sale of 1.2 acres on East 66th Street between Euclid and Chester avenues closed Nov. 25, according to Cuyahoga County property records. The seller was Dunham Tavern Museum, a historic former stagecoach stop and tavern at 6709 Euclid Ave. The foundation purchased the property through an affiliated LLC. Plans for the new headquarters call for a three-story building at the northeast corner of East 66th and Euclid, just west of Dunham Tavern.
