  1. Where will this live exactly? Will this increase Downtown population or will these students fill existing dorms?
  2. When I look at May Company potential, I always think of the City Target in Portland, OR that I used to live walking distance to. Agreed. Now that Tower City is losing retail, this property is screaming for a City Target or something similar. A

  6. All coming together... $1 Billion funding goal is certainly ambitious, but that's why you set goals. Case Western Reserve set that goal in 2011, and hit that goal only after a few years: https://thedaily.case.edu/university-supporters-1-8-billion-in-campaign-giving-surpasses-two-goals-and-all-expectations/

Cleveland-based Tap Packaging Solutions announces relocation plans to Brooklyn Updated 5:54 AM; Posted 5:54 AM By John Benson, special to cleveland.com BROOKLYN, Ohio -- Cleveland-based Tap Packaging Solutions has announced plans to lease a Tiedeman Road building from Premier Partners LLC. The site is currently home to Keystone Tailored Manufacturing, which is closing its doors next month. “We obviously feel sorry for the people who are losing their jobs at Keystone, but the quick replacement with Tap Packaging Solutions minimizes that impact,” Brooklyn Department of Economic Development Director Andi Udris said. “It’s a 250,000-square foot building, and Tap Packaging Solutions will be leasing 208,000 square feet. “I think they’re a stronger tenant from a city standpoint of trying to stabilize our tax revenues. Keystone had a $5.1 million payroll and Tap Packaging Solutions is estimating a $6.1 million payroll.” https://www.cleveland.com/community/2019/03/cleveland-based-tap-packaging-solutions-announces-relocation-plans-to-brooklyn.html

  13. Harrington’s portion of the joint venture will use space in the old Corner Alley space on Euclid Avenue in University Circle. The Corner Alley was an upscale bowling alley that closed in 2018. Harrington expects to occupy the space in the spring. Harrington looks to hire more employees for its rare disease center site, but Stamler did not have firm numbers. 16. ^ Don't forget we also lost this historic Caine-Hubbard Home at 11320 Juniper Road, knocked over by Case Western Reserve in Oct 2015. Yep, the same Hubbard as the "Cowell & Hubbard" jewelry store.
  17. My fraternity as CWRU used to use that place a few times a year. Don't know how long it's been out of business, but I bowled there a few times 10+ years ago. Definitely was hidden, but I had always assumed by design.

  19. Thanks. Definitely fascinating to see that projected population increase for 2021. Although...on page 7 of 9, I find it funny they cite “Case.edu” as their source for the listing of local colleges and universities, and then fail to include Case Western Reserve and its 12,000 students.
