Cleveland housing tax abatement
well, zaremba has recently stated that he has presold an entire 10 story condo building in the avenue district. stonebridge on the west bank doesnt seem like they have any problems selling condos as they continue to build. that doesnt seem to be the case. i jus dont think frank gets it. we got a good thing goin here. let it play out. this will kill all new residential developement. not just downtown but all over the city.

Cleveland Guardians Discussion
i just heard on espn that MLB moved the tribe-angels series to milwaukee. does this make any sense?? how much money will the tribe lose in ticket sales and concessions? i'd hope that MLB would have to compensate cleveland for the loss of revenue. i wouldnt think shapiro or dolan would agree to this without it.

thank you musky. no, we put those windows in last summer. working on an elementary school in shaker heights now. that building was a mess, though they did do a good job at saving alot of the original woodwork. i believe that building may have looked much different before (roofline wise). it has a newer roof on it and there are a eight or ten chimney stacks that have been knocked down that are underneath that roof.

i think they meant 500 beds...you know how they cram bunk beds in those dorm rooms. that building is nowhere large enough for 500 rooms

Cleveland: Steelyard Commons
maybe im jus backwards. though whenever i drive through there (MLK + 105) it works well for me.

Cleveland: Steelyard Commons
to me it just doesnt seem like a very smooth setup. one of the ramps coming into the loop juts to the left right as you approach it. doesnt seem like it will flow well. im jus comparing it to my experience with the one on MLK which i like and seems to operate very smooth.

Cleveland: Marketing the City
i applaud your ambition...it also helps if you have at least one partner to take the load off and lessen the risk. Myself and my business partner are currently in the process of buying two properties. one, a 4 unit apartment building, another a 3 unit. while using none of our own money. It can be complicating. I got into it six years ago doing it by myself and it is hard. I sold the last two properties I had nearly two years ago partly because it was too much for myself plus i had to relocate for my job. now that i have a partner that i can trust it is so much easier this time. so it would help to identify now people you would want to involve and what they bring to the table.

Your Daily Commute
i work construction so as far as carrying my tool box, lunch pail, and other assorted power tools, aside from moving from different job sites sometimes throughout the day or week. theres no possible way public transit could meet my needs.

i dont think he's talking about flippin. though youre right, it is hard in ohio, though a good product at a good price will sell. you just need to keep a tight grasp on your budget.
