  2. the port and wolstein are down to 3 holdout landowners with a fourth close to settling
  3. you almost need to consolidate and isolate housing projects to one area instead of spreading them out in neighborhoods and wrecking everything...which has happened. How bout we build some housing projects out in the land cleveland owns in chagrin highlands. that would put low income people closer to good paying jobs, easy access of highways, and piss Jacobs off all to hell with his Harvard Park.
  4. I noticed another SOLD sign up on a unit in RS on Hopkins...i believe that was the last one of those.
  5. who's at fault here...the thugs who roam the streets stealing and vandalizing, dealing drugs...or investors who resist large areas of our city because of this. im confused as to how this situation can be remedied...at least somewhat.

good job with the tour mapboy! i think we need to start a discussion about a school district to serve the downtown area and new neighborhoods to support it. say, north of the main avenue bridge stretching along including the burke lakefront land. i think people would willingly buy homes without tax abatement if they knew their tax dollars were going towards a good school system.
  17. an amazing building in a great high density neighborhood....i dont understand why this building hasnt been touched
  18. i see now why its almost impossible to get into Melt ....went there with the girlfriend sunday and was thoroughly pleased...the lake erie monster is exactly that.

  21. Marous is doing this under Vintage Development Group to protect its core business Marous Brothers Construction from liability should people living there start coming down with cancer and extra limbs and things of that sort (they didnt make batteries with kool aid ya know)...this project got shelved for a while because nobody would take responsibility for this site should problems start to arise. this came from a direct source last name marous.
  22. "It's probably the only planned urban community on the West Side. Normally, with urban living, you have just one building. Here you have a village." I'm sorry Ms. Benoit but isnt the whole west side planned in the same sense that battery park is? homes built on a street grid. am i missing something here?
  23. right...u mean all the mid-rise towers along E. 9th and how robust that area is? is that the street life youre talking about??
  24. lets get DFAS, Eaton, and Baker and Hostetler together in a building. throw in some condos...say 100+ stories on public square.....enough of this mid-rise BS. lets make a statement.
