  2. Forest City is doing this project. typical. snub the local taxpayers for their own well being.

  5. well, do you think they want to wait. from the time their building is torn down till a new one is put up, that could be over a year. time is money. they need a solution now. if they want to come back and lease from wolstein after the project is done im sure thats up to them.
  6. well maybe he's doing whatever it takes to get them the hell outta the east bank so wolsteins project can move forward. if it makes everyone happy im all for it. the place where they would be placed is sort of outta the way from everything, its sort of isolated. so for the time being i think its a good move.

well yes and a new stadium was built in its place. much like league park, just a much smaller scale but "right" sized. now we just need to tear down the red cross so we can build a basketball court where the cleveland arena once stood!

the right to choose where they live? they already have the right to choose where they work. as these cities tax paying citizens should have the right to choose where their tax dollars go. they took these jobs knowing the criteria. i say let the local voters say where they want their tax dollars to go, its their money not the states.

  14. after we left the bars saturday night AT 2:30 after the cavs conference finals victory it took us till 3:45a.m. to finally find some mode of public transit headed west. all the cabs were booked, the rapid was shut down, and after sitting at the corner of W.9th and Superior for an hour a bus finally arrived packed to the gills with many grumbling "why the hell isnt the rapid running late on a night like this". they wouldve made a small fortune that night.
  15. i knew it!! thats hilarious. tell them to ask again when gas hits 6.00 a gallon.
  16. i think they (suburbanites) just shaking their heads and say....the city has to do something about this parking situation.
  17. people were mobbing the vendors before they could get to their rows buying like 15 dogs at a time as well as the concession stand lines being 20 deep the whole game. i posted up outside the vendors room and snagged them as they came out. before i knew it there were 10 people behind me.
  18. the foundations for the first three townhomes for the next phase have been set and the concrete pads were poured yesterday. i talked to a worker who said once the framing is done on the townhomes theyre supposed to start construction of the six story loft building.
  19. the jake was sold out friday night, i went that night and all they had left were standing room only tickets for 20.00
  20. i couldve sworn i read somewhere that the parking garages would be hidden from view or skirted with offices or apartments. something like the cleveland clinic has done with their latest garage. probably the nicest looking garage ive ever seen.
  21. it might be of note that Marous Brothers Construction did the construction and restoration of the Heinz complex with Ferchill as well they are doing the Book-Cadillac restoration in detroit with him.
