  1. Lebron will most definitely retire a Cavalier? Even if on a one-day contract?
  2. I'm as pro-Cleveland as they come, but I hate to break it to you--other than the venue and local stagehands, the event is completely produced out of New York. NY production staff, video, sound, lights etc. WIth this in mind, I would say that the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse is one of the finest in the country, both from the facilities level and operations. The venue definitely deserves much congratulations.
  3. I'd love to see a partnership of Lebron and Dan Gilbert. Will never happen as there is a lot of lost love between the two, but if it could would be the best possible scenario for the Browns, Cleveland and the urbanists of this forum.

This reminds me of a joke that my grandmother once told at a family function when I was young, that was so out of character for her, I laugh at the memory every time I think of it: Little Suzie is riding the bus with her mom and chewing her fingernails. The mom leans down to Suzie and says, "quit biting your nails or you'll end up looking like that guy over there," while pointing to a passenger with a huge beer belly. The next day they are on the bus again and a pregnant woman boards the bus. Little Suzie looks up at her and yells "I KNOW WHAT YOU"VE BEEN DOING!" I'll show myself out...
  5. Unless they have an axe to grind with Haslam...which they do. He single-handedly messed up the QB compensation market with the Watson deal.

Found while cyber-slacking this afternoon. Interesting if you have some time to read about local shipwrecks. Apologies if this has already been posted here somewhere--I didn't see in a quick search. https://ohioshipwrecks.org/index.php

Same here 6'4: 248 lbs....obese. BMI gets worse as a measurement the bigger you naturally are.

This is what Robert F Kennedy should be focused on. Unfortunately the agri-business/food lobby will come out in droves and convince him to focus on vaccines instead.

How can this even be remotely Constitutional?
  10. Sad, pathetic team. Four years ago we were a bad call away from the AFC Championship with Baker. And we took Baker over this year's MVP-in-waiting Josh Allen. All to flush the team down the toilet with Watson. 😤
  11. I would think like Europe, NYC's residential density helps the office market. In a city where many residents live in small apartments, you want to get out of the house and go somewhere for the day to work.
  12. My one complaint about Bibb is there is 8000 people working at the city, and basic city services continue to be at an all time low. Streets aren't swept, leaves aren't picked up, city property is overgrown and not maintained. I was hoping when voting for Bibb he would exert some authority to exercise the Frank Jackson laziness from the rank and file. He has failed miserably at this.

Cavs statement win in Denver and Charge set attendance record! A great Friday for the organization. Please can everyone ping Dan Gilbert and have him put an offer in on the Browns?
  14. Hopefully the 500 building occupants rediscover the art!
  15. Feels like developers will run out of space quickly. I was hoping to see more high rise buildings through here.

I ended up getting them a Ninja air fryer/toaster/oven, after I realized it was something they actually did not have and would use...
  17. If any consolation, downtown Buffalo has a fraction of the residents of downtown Cleveland.
  18. But where would the Marble Room valets operate? 😁
  19. Minneapolis is home to Target and General Mills...all huge ad buyers with the NFL. The other thing people are leaving out of the discussion about Cleveland and Super Bowls...our owner is not very well liked amongst the other owners. The Deshaun Watson deal has made him somewhat of a pariah as it jacked up the QB market contracts.
  20. 1 in Ford Field. 1 prior to that at the Silverdome. But...Detroit is a march larger market with many more hotels and also the automotive industry, which is a MAJOR advertiser in NFL TV and sponsorship buys. I don't think Cleveland would ever get a chance....there is not enough of those components here to piece together the NFL letting us have a bite of that cake.

RIP to one of the best.
  22. I never knew they came out of the bridge and could make the turn onto W 25th
  23. This is a good looking building. I hope it spurs more of these in the area.
  24. That sound right then. They might very well have heard a bunch of blowback!
  25. Funny how you give someone like a bus driver some power and they let it go to their head. It's the equivalent of the TSA agent who finally gets to work the podium, who can't wait to scream at someone for approaching before asked...
