Is there really that big of a market for boosted Clevleand T shirts?

This is all a tough order without addressing the schools. Middle class blacks leave Cleveland for the same reasons that whites did and getting their children out of CMSD is at the top of the list.

Likewise! However, I wonder how many naysayers will complain of the lack of afternoon evening sun in the corporate plaza known as Public Square. Mayor Jackson could try to limit the height to a Sherwin Williams strip mall store in the interest of avoiding terrorist attacks in the shade.... ?

Wide freeways and interchanges don't grow on trees. The stuff is expensive! I'm looking at you Avon Lake!

Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
I did see Trump bragging on Twitter that he gave the largest ever grant to NJ Transit, Chicago MTA and some others. Is RTA on the Coronavirus dole?

Did anyone else get the apology letter from BJ's Brewhouse for their Mothers Day takeout service? Must have been quite the meltdown!

US Economy: News & Discussion
I don't buy it. Once things are back to "normal," most CEOs and CFOs will take a look at the costs and go right back to ordering from Mexico, China, etc.

Soon to be followed by the ornamental cigarette butts and fast food wrappers.

Cleveland: Flats Developments (Non-Stonebridge or FEB)
I was on the river yesterday. There are still rail cars at the mill, and a worker was climbing down in one doing something.

Cleveland: Nautica Development
I was down there dropping a friend off at his boat storage yesterday and was amazed at the foot traffic in the flats. Lots of joggers and people walking together!

US Economy: News & Discussion
It depends on the layout of course, but usually this time of the year the January New Years resolution people are long gone and some of the cardio types have taken to the streets and trails. So if this gym is decent sized and they limit access shouldn't be too difficult.

US Economy: News & Discussion
I would imagine that the big box retailers Target, Wal Mart and grocery chains are the vast majority of retail jobs nationally, and they are all open.

Is there rail access on any part of the OC? I would think so...but not sure.
-
Cleveland: Nautica Development
I agree--it reminded me of something you'd see in Europe, and would be unique for the area for sure having dockage outside the tower.

Cleveland: Retail News
Amazing how the NIMBYs would rather see a dead mall than remake it into something new. It's not like a developer is going to mow it down and put in a McMansion development on that site.... (facepalm)

Schedule is official. When will fans be allowed in First Energy Stadium?

It looks nice! This is exactly what I was thinking. Having residents and/or businesses around 24/7 will help cut down on the loitering.

I did some googling to try to answer my own question. It looks as though it's on the table in other areas. Bay Area shopping malls have a new focus: Building housing https://www.bizjournals.com/sanfrancisco/news/2018/11/01/bay-area-shopping-malls-building-housing.html

Has there ever been a "classic mall" that has had a developer add on mixed use elements to the outside, with ground level retail and residential/office above? I would think that area would go for something like that--lots of potential for rentals and condos.

Cleveland: Local Media News & Discussion
Just checked. $79 for the year on the website. Or 5 weeks for $5? That would be a better deal to keep renewing every 5 weeks.
