  1. I can't help but think that if a high school student struggles with these most basic math concepts, shouldn't they be in some sort of vocational program that can give them skills to be employable in some fashion?
  2. When you say "via dropbox," is this an electronic dropbox as in the cloud, or an actual locked box in front of city hall?
  3. The difference is Costco would take your return and exchange them.
  4. The government should consider some stimulus for passenger rail then. ?
  5. Whatever the final height ends up at, I'm just glad this is getting started before any further economic downturn engages. Let's get this thing built as fast as possible!
  6. For reals...I did ours in 5 minutes. Enter the code, answer a few questions and done! It makes me hope for a secure voting system like this so we can increase turnout someday!
  7. Did we expect any different? I personally am on the side of helping corporations, but making sure there are stringent measures put in place so that they actually use the money to retain workers during this crisis. The GOP's coronavirus relief package is a dream for big corporations and a nightmare for struggling Americans https://www.businessinsider.com/coronavirus-pandemic-senate-gop-bill-doesnt-help-americans-workers-2020-3?fbclid=IwAR3Zmb2EfmaYlZO9Y0NGLD4dzK_Eb7hNLsT8oKVjwUqUMluiMOHE8TrK92E

  9. Maybe it's time to start reviving Depression-era expressions? When will we be living in Trumpvilles? And flying Trump Flags?
  10. It's been 91 years since the last big crash and depression. Some say these things come in cycles. I do agree with several comments on these forums--at some point we need to consider what damage is worse--the virus or shutting down the entire economy? 11. Since there are currently no rock concerts, this story that ran yesterday on the BBC seems relevant (about the very first rock concert). Cleveland's rock'n'roll riot https://www.bbc.com/news/av/magazine-17453820/cleveland-s-rock-n-roll-riot
  12. I don't want to say the sky will be falling, but I'm currently trying to apply for benefits on the Ohio JFS website and it keeps crashing. When you call in to the toll free number, it goes through a menu, says they are experiencing high call volume, then hangs up....
  13. Cabin air is recirculated in far greater frequency than most other gathering places. https://www.askthepilot.com/questionanswers/cabin-air-quality/
  14. I was on DEN-CLE flight on Friday--same thing only a handful of masks on flight and in airport.
  15. Unfortunately many of our examples of such dwellings took unlimited resources and slave labor, neither of which is (currently) available in Cleveland. ?
  16. I personally cancelled 8 trips out of CLE in the next 4 weeks as we await to see when gatherings can happen again.
  17. No one in Mentor complains about parking in Mentor. But they do about parking in downtown Cleveland (and even downtown Willoughby!).
  18. Cincinnati-Cleveland flights still working--though I think they reduced the schedule. 19. Excellent points here in reference to another looming airline bailout. Don’t Feel Sorry for the Airlines Before providing them any assistance, we must demand that they change how they treat their customers and employees. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/03/16/opinion/airlines-bailout.html

Remember...Trump said this was just a Democrat "hoax"
  22. I thought most Bills fans want to stay in Orchard Park. It's easy, and there is the ocean of parking lots for the Bills Mafia tailgates. No way you could get all that space in downtown Buffalo.
  23. Sorry I should have been more clearer. The Indians would need to be perennial contenders to support a project like this AND E 4th St. Or the Cavs too, for that matter. The Indians have been relatively successful since the late 90's, but the Cardinals have been doing it for decades (11 World series titles, 19 NL pennants, 14 division titles, 3 Wild Cards to the Indians 2/6/10/1 all time)
