NBA: General News & Discussion
I'm fascinated on how they record these. Does the NBA have a stat person sit there with an iPad and tap on the court location? And how was it calculated before tablet devices?

Cleveland: Outlet Mall Proposal for Lakefront
I don't disagree re tailgaters. Might be a $hit-show the first few games once it's built though! ? But this kind of shoots the "not enough parking" at Tower City argument down. It will be a relatively small lot on that east end.

Cleveland: Outlet Mall Proposal for Lakefront
What are they going to do with all the daily parkers there? Or Browns tailgaters?

Cleveland: Outlet Mall Proposal for Lakefront
I never understood the "not enough parking" argument. There is the existing Tower City parking infrastructure, and then there are the casino garages, complete with their skywalks. I would think all of that would add up to more than the muni-lot site.

Cleveland: Outlet Mall Proposal for Lakefront
Yes, right across from the Harrah's casino. Our outlet mall should be in Tower City, where it has transit access, benefits downtown residents and has the built in "subsidy" of casino patrons. The tech hub should be somewhere else. My suggestion: a ground floor tenant in 925 Euclid.

I may have my little part in the segment they filmed at Burke Lakefront, which doesn't appear to be mentioned in the article.

A Road Is A Road To Socialism Road
Seems appropriate today... Whenever the government provides opportunities in privileges for white people and rich people they call it “subsidized” when they do it for Negro and poor people they call it “welfare.” The fact that is the everybody in this country lives on welfare. Suburbia was built with federally subsidized credit. And highways that take our white brothers out to the suburbs were built with federally subsidized money to the tune of 90 percent. Everybody is on welfare in this country. The problem is that we all to often have socialism for the rich and rugged free enterprise capitalism for the poor. That’s the problem.
