Cleveland: Retail News
I personally find better prices at Heinen's than Giant Eagle routinely. Giant Eagle is actually super expensive. Someone needs to pay for those "Fuel Perks"

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
I have no issue with this, as long as the design is appropriate. Public Square is the heart of our city, where commerce, transit and civic functions meet.

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport
Exactly. This is a non issue at CLE in it's current state. And I don't see a hub ever returning, in the present day airline model. The airport needs to be rebuilt as a mid-market O/D operation. Tear down A/B and start there with a new terminal/gates, then interface with C/D. Move the rental car operation back to the short term garage, and build a new long term garage/hotel complex on the orange lot. All problems solved!

IMO there are only two good sites for it: Weston or Public Square. They need to stay close to the infrastructure of attorney's offices, bail bondsmen, etc.

Cleveland: Port Authority News & Info
Marine forecast is for 60 mph winds and 20 foot waves tonight on Lake Erie! Those kids will probably be glad to be docked! I plan on taking a drive around and checking out the waves from Edgewater and downtown--the best I can see them!

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
If this happens, the city HAS to come up with a truck route from the port to I-90. If you've ever spent any time on Huron, it's non-stop 54-wheel semi dump trucks wailing through there.

Cleveland: Random Quick Questions
A friend of mine asked for a few of the top, most sought after tattoo artists in Cleveland. Not my area of expertise. Via another friend I do know Al Garcia out in Mentor is highly coveted. Any other suggestions?

Cleveland: Downtown: Justice Center Complex Replacement
I have my doubts about the Jacob's lot. If the Jackson administration was so concerned about "terrorism" in their fight to keep transit off Public Square, it makes me wonder if they would go for a courthouse on the square, and the "undesirables" that come along with it?

Cleveland: Downtown: Justice Center Complex Replacement
Is that even allowed in government agencies? I feel like the funding is way more restricted. If you have a bond issue to fund a courthouse, you cant just move it willy nilly to RTA trains?

Cleveland Browns Discussion
Can we steal Greg Williams back from the Cardinals?

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
I remain optimistic that a County/Private partnership will materialize to get the new Justice Center built, as they did with the County HQ. At least the design might have a chance of being tolerable for the next 50 years!

Of course he is. And no one in those "articles" ever goes back and fact checks him once things are said and done....

The Official *I Love Cleveland* Thread
Not sure...but as an aside, that guy has outdone himself this year! I think it's one of the better ones I remember him doing. He completely refinished the front of his house with faux brick and set up a haunted schoolyard filled with skeleton nuns and children!

Lakewood Life
Probably a good time to mention the Norfolk Southern tracks also! I've known several people who have moved into Lakewood north of Detroit and didn't realize/process that those tracks were there!

Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
I'm with you. It's a roll of the dice every time I try to use the Redline these days. With the retaining wall project I understood the shutdown, which came with a great deal of notice. But with these other small projects and not insanely tight frequency, I don't understand why RTA can't single track sections to get the work done? We have technology now to prevent collisions.

Lakewood: Development and News
Welcome back! I'm not in the market, but have some real estate agent friends who think Lakewood continues to be a hot market. If you're just west of W117th/Detroit, you must be around the new townhomes? Did you purchase one of those, or an existing older home on a side street?

The Official *I Love Cleveland* Thread
It wasn't filmed here, but supposedly Season 2 Episode 1 of Netflix "Haunted" series is based on experiences of a group of 20 somethings living in a rented house on Clifton in Cleveland. Anyone know these kids or where they lived? There is some debate as to whether the series is real or not.... Cleveland: Little Italy: Development and News
I lived there for a few years back in the 90's. I can say that the old-timers almost had a resentment that they were still "stuck" there and their friends and family had long since moved out Mayfield to the burbs. It made for some bitter old dudes.....

Ohio Non-Commercial Airports
They would not have to hire security personnel if they operate out of a FBO. This is how their operation is at Cincinnati Lunken. They don't operate from the "terminal" there. They are operating as a charter service.

I see them there from time to time. They are usually ANG training flights out of Niagara Falls.

They could operate out of one of Hopkins FBOs.
