Cincinnati: Downtown: Heritage Bank Center
KC also has no sports tenants, so it's ALWAYS available. Quite a few larger tours rehearse there as well because of this reason.

Cincinnati: Downtown: Heritage Bank Center
True. It would be more accurate to say it "sits there with not a single team," which is what the conversation was about above (attracting a pro sports franchise). Imagine what they'd be doing with another 41 NBA or Hockey game nights.

Cleveland: General Business & Economic News
I wonder if the Berea road store will survive as a Michaels. It always seemed busy in there.

Other States: Passenger Rail News
That is lunacy! Would have been cheaper to just build a concrete/steel barrier gate to keep a slow-moving freight train moving to a siding from crossing the high-speed tracks at-grade!

Northeast Ohio: Regionalism News & Discussion
I could see this happening soon--but in Cleveland's case they'd be taking on the worst of the worst. Suburbs like East Cleveland, Warrensville, Bedford etc that have suffered from further white-flight as more affluent black families moved east into the inner ring suburbs.

Interesting. And Kansas City built the Sprint Center 12 years ago to attract a NBA or NHL franchise. It sits empty with not even a minor league team today.

Cleveland: Detroit-Shoreway / Gordon Square Arts District: Development News
My favorite memories of the Big Egg of the 1990's were the over-flowing ashtrays and the couple of large waitresses who would have to squeeze between the tables to serve everyone.

Maybe Dougal can loan it to you, so you can write your opposing book.

Cleveland: Nautica Development
If they added boat docks with retail/restaurant frontage, I'd be cool with it.

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport
Now that Szabo is gone, who is "running" the airport? Longer walks, higher costs: New Cleveland Hopkins drop-off locations, fees irk drivers, passengers, lot owners https://www.cleveland.com/business/2018/12/new-passenger-drop-off-locations-fees-at-cleveland-hopkins-airport-irk-private-drivers-parking-lot-owners.html

Happy 2019 Mayday! May there be just as many, if not more cranes in Cleveland that we saw in 2018!

Cleveland Browns Discussion
Not affecting the playoff outcome was yet ANOTHER blown NFL officiating call for the Browns--the Jackson fumble that should have been a Peppers touchdown. How do you blow that dead with a ball rolling around the backfield?

Cleveland Browns Discussion
I can't find the poll from the beginning of preseason for the Browns W-L (probably lost in the server migration). I think I picked 8-8, so in the ballpark of where they could end up.

Could be the rumored Dream Hotel project? Edit: Sorry KJP--should have read the posting via the link, where you mention this!

As long as it's not sold to Surface Starking LLC.

I travel internationally for work and it makes me insane that these poor little countries often have well-developed and maintained transit systems. Here in the USA, and in NYC in particular, we're still waiting for infrastructure week.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
Some of them are better than you think when you factor in the interest rate, tax abatements and lack of monthly maintenance fees (compared to Gold Coast). Don't you and the wife have a little guy? What's the school plan?

Ohio Census / Population Trends & Lists
I think 1/2 of them are living in Lakewood, from all the god-awful NYS plates I'm seeing!

Cleveland: Downtown: nuCLEus
It wouldn't take much--and thankfully there are many more buildings on Prospect out towards 55th that survived demolition compared to Euclid!

Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail
Interesting--for some reason I always thought the canal went straight south to Marietta?

Cleveland Browns Discussion
How's everyone feeling about Gregg Williams? It's clear the team is playing their hearts out for him, and his W-L record shows that compared to Hue!
